About

American Integrity Mechanical, LLC operates out of Houston, Texas as an HVAC outfit handling both commercial and residential work across the state. Their focus stays on heating and cooling systems with crews experienced in routine maintenance, emergency fixes, and full installations. The company stresses using solid equipment and materials to keep units running efficiently without constant callbacks. Homeowners and business owners in the area often face heavy summer loads on air conditioners plus occasional winter heating demands, so the shop positions itself for quick responses on those common Texas jobs. They cover everything from basic tune ups to bigger system replacements when older units fail under the load.

Technicians handle commercial refrigeration repairs like the ones at Merit Coffee locations where crews fixed equipment that kept drinks cold during daily operations. Chip showed up on a volunteer service drink cooler tied to Dallas Fire Rescue, spotted the problem fast, and got the unit back online so the team could resume deliveries. Other calls involved capsule pack replacements on cooling systems where one quote from Richard Hobbs ran around seven thousand dollars while another shop completed the same job for two thousand. The crew also manages residential calls for homeowners dealing with units that stop blowing cold air or develop leaks during peak heat, focusing on parts that restore function without dragging out the downtime.

Reviews split between solid marks on quick diagnosis and response times versus complaints about inflated pricing that turned customers away. Some praised the team for showing up ready to work on vital equipment and keeping commercial spots running without long delays, while others flagged quotes that came in three times higher than market rates and left them looking elsewhere. Communication stayed direct on the jobs that went well but drew criticism when estimates lacked follow through. This mix lands them in the middle of the pack for Houston HVAC outfits. What Customers Say

We use AIM for all the refrigeration repairs at Merit Coffee in DFW area. They do a great job, are technician owned and have been a great partner. I would recommend them to anyone looking for commercial refrigeration repairs.

AIM quoted us an outrageous $7,000 for a repair that they had no intention of doing. Another company installed the new capsule pack for only $2,000 and has consistently provided excellent service in the past. The only reason we contacted AIM was because our regular company was booked out. On top of the exorbitant quote, Richard Hobbs charged us for an “initial trip” fee. His technician spent a mere 15 minutes at our store. After calling AIM for a week straight, trying to get an update on an estimate or confirmation that they could complete the repair, he finally sent us the outrageous quote. To make matters worse, he charged our credit card for $386.40 without authorization and without speaking to anyone at our company for the 15-minute trip. It’s clear that AIM is simply collecting money on inspection fees without any intention of actually making any real repairs. Please be careful of contacting this company. I’d like to add since this company decided to respond, I was trying for over a week to get ahold of them. Calling every day, texting, etc… no response. Very deceiving business tactics. I was told multiple days that the tech would come out, then nobody showed up. AIM kept claiming all of their techs were sick or they were too busy after scheduling with them multiple times. Then to send a quote for $7,000 weeks after the “Initial visit” when another extremely reputable company did the job for $2,000… we have not encountered an HVAC company as crooked as this one. I hope everyone steers clear of this business.

This guy Richard Hobbs is a scam artist. He quoted us some ridiculous quote that was three times what was actually paid. His outrageous quote was not even worth responding to. He had a guy spend about 15 minutes to assess what work needed to be done. When we didn't respond to his outrageous quote, he decided to charge us almost $400 and claimed it was for the estimate. Since we didn't respond to his quote, he claims "declined estimates dictate the completion of service"! Huh??!! You completed the service when your quote was declined? DO NOT GIVE THIS GUY YOUR CC, HE WILL CHARGE YOU AT WILL. My cost was about $400 for someone from his company to spend 15 mins at our store assessing what needs to be done, nothing else. He is an unscrupulous guy! *******Response to his response******** The 15 email thread is full of your nonsense, nothing else. An exact quote from one of those aforementioned 15 emails "declined estimates dictate the completion of service". Facts are that your quote was 3 times what we paid for a job very well done, your quote was excessive by several thousand dollars, that your guy spent 15 mins in our store and you charged close to $400 for his 15 mins where absolutely no work was done, it was almost $400 for an estimate that took your guy 15 mins. I think that says it all. Facts don't lie, scam artists do. He doesn't refute the core facts stated above, only that he sent 15 emails. DO NOT TRUST THIS SCAM ARTIST!

AIM has been amazing helping us get our drink cooler up and running! Chip came out and quickly diagnosed the issue. This cooler is vital to our volunteer service to Dallas Fire-Rescue so we needed it back in service. The team at American Industrial are extremely responsive. They are an excellent choice for your HVAC or in our case refrigeration repair needs!

I operate two sports bars in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex. Ownership wasn’t satisfied with our previous refrigeration tech. Based on some recommendations from my peers, I called AIM. That was a bit over a month ago. They’ve now secured our HVAC, glycol, refrigeration and hot equipment repair business. If that doesn’t tell you how good they are, nothing will. Thanks for the great work AIM!
