“I was in a bind during the coldest days of February and my furnace started making noise and eventually I turned it out because I thought it was going to blow up (LOL). I called my home warranty company who sent Sears HVAC to check it out which was a joke. They were going to replace the furnace and all I had to pay was well into the 4 digits. (!!) Deer was called and they gave me an estimate which was different from Sears. Jacob Thompson arrived to check things our and he was great. He explained everything to me. Treated my older unit with care, was very respectful and even played with my pup for a moment. He was awesome. He did not give the same estimate as Sears, however, he did inform me that I could use a new unit, but it did not have to be today. He manipulated something to quiet the sound it was making, checked the air flow, took some pictures and more importantly told me it was okay to run the unit. I HAD HEAT!! He was amazing and I am so grateful for his service.”

“We had an outstanding experience with Deer Heating & Cooling. Their technician came out quickly and thoroughly inspected our system after we lost cooling. They attempted to diagnose and repair the issue first instead of immediately pushing a replacement, which I appreciated. After finding a leaking evaporator coil and explaining the age and condition of the system, they honestly recommended replacement over putting money into what could have turned into a temporary band-aid repair. The very next day they provided a fair and responsible estimate with 0% financing options that made the decision much easier and financially manageable. There was absolutely no pressure — just honest information so we could make an informed decision. Once we approved the work, Deer Heating & Cooling installed the entire new system the following day. The crew was professional, on time, respectful of our home, and completed the installation with no issues. Everything works great and the house is cooling perfectly again. It’s hard to find companies that are responsive, honest, and customer-focused anymore, but Deer Heating & Cooling absolutely delivered. Very happy with our new system and highly recommend them to anyone needing HVAC service or replacement.”

“Deer Heating and Cooling installed our heat pump HVAC system over 15 years ago. Up until now we were very happy with the system we purchased and Deer Heating and Cooling. Our air stopped working a week ago, Jun 4. I noted the outside unit stopped working and called Deer to setup an appointment to get it looked at. On Tuesday, Jun 9, late afternoon, the technician arrived. After about 30 minutes told me a part needed to be ordered to repair the system. He said Deer would call me back with a price for the part and estimated price to repair. He thought it would take about 2-3 more days to get the part and schedule someone to come back out to install it. He charged me a $100 diagnostic fee. By 4:30 that afternoon, no call yet, so I called them. The guy on the phone told me they still didn't have a price for the part. I asked if he could let me know something today on a price because it's hot in the house (86 ambient outside) and expecting hot weather over the next couple of days (100 with the heat index), and he said he would check with the parts person and let me know. I said so nothings going to happen today, and he said probably not until tomorrow because they close at 5 pm. Tomorrow came and still no call back (Jun 10). This is kind of urgent due to the heat, so I called another company who was able to get me in the same day and move their schedule around to get us on the schedule for Friday, Jun 12 to get our air working again. I still have not heard anything from Deer. I don't know what happened to Deer, they used to have great customer service, but now it appears they could care less about being responsive despite dangerous weather conditions in the local area.”

They did a very challenging furnace install no other local company would even bid on but they did it without a problem. That was 8 years ago and I have never been disappointed. I would recommend them with no hesitation.”
