About

Boen Plumbing Inc operates from Waco, TX and directs its work toward HVAC services for area homes. The company addresses heating and cooling demands that tie into broader mechanical systems homeowners rely on during the region's intense summers and variable winters. Local conditions often lead to calls about equipment that must handle heavy use, and the crew responds to those situations with the tools and knowledge needed to keep air moving properly through houses. Their background centers on practical repairs that intersect plumbing lines with climate control setups common throughout Waco neighborhoods.

Technicians handle jobs such as unclogging kitchen sinks where one worker completed the task in under an hour and another arrived the same day a call came in at 10am to finish an issue in 20 minutes after explaining the problem. Robert has been noted for clear communication during visits. Other service examples include repairs on copper elbows that ran near 1000 dollars in one case and a separate charge of 790 dollars where customers requested but did not receive itemized details. These calls show the range of pipe and fixture work that supports HVAC performance in existing homes.

Homeowners consistently note fast response times on straightforward repairs yet raise repeated concerns about communication gaps including long delays for receipts and disputes over whether work was needed. Speed earns positive mentions when a technician shows up promptly and finishes without delay, while quality and price draw criticism when bills arrive without breakdowns or when extra steps increase costs. These patterns across the feedback shape the overall rating. DIRT Score 1.77 from 14 reviews on Finds.

What Customers Say

I called Boen Plumbing at 10am and they had a plumber to me by 1pm. Robert was great! He took the time to explain the issue we were having and he fixed everything within 20 minutes. I can’t thank them enough for being so efficient and helpful. 10 out of 10 recommend.

Company was called to unclog the pipes in a kitchen sink. The worker did a fine job and finished within an hour - so the plumber wasn't the issue. Before having them come out, we were told if the plumber makes it before a certain time, we would pay I think $87.50, if it was later, we would pay more because of overtime. They arrive at 3pm and left at 4pm, so we fell into the $87.50 per hour payment. But what they don't tell you, is that they bring a machine in to your house, that I assume is for unclogging a pipe. The plumber plugged it in, use my electricity to power it, and maybe used it for 10-15 minutes max. When I call to pay my bill, they tell me its $87.50 for the work, and another $80.00 for the machine! So I'm thinking the whole time, what a great price! But they sneak that machine cost in that makes no sense and essentially double your cost for no reason. It's like they making you pay to rent the equipment they already have that is needed to do their job. Absolute joke. The employee was great, professional, and did a good job, but the company itself is the problem. Their home office either doesn't answer the phone, or tells you to hang on for a minute then hang up on you. They also shouldn't be tacking on fees for a machine they own and barely used for the job, unless they tell you ahead of time (they certainly didn't).

Asked for itemized receipt which I didnt recieve. Unnecessary work was done totaling a cost of almost $1000 to repair a copper 90⁰ elbow. Unfortunately they have lost our business and we will go with another company.

Extremely Unethical. I received service on 1-8-18 and after a dozen phone calls (starting the very first day) requesting an itemized lists for the $790.16 charge, I finally received a call today (43 days later) and the owner had the nerve to call me a liar and still not give me an itemized amount. She has no reason to justify the labor charges. The plumber spent 1.5 hours on one project, 1 hour at the most on another project, and half hour another project. This comes to 3 hours worth of work and she charged me $660 labor ($220 per hour labor) and $121.93 for parts that should have not be nearly that price. This is my very first and hopefully ever complaint of this kind. So, beware of this company. The owner justifies the charge because she tracked the plumbers van GPS. Why did the plumber sit out in a van for hours and charge me??? Something is very unethical with this. The plumber was very nice. He even offered to come out on nights and weekends to do extra work for me for much less than Boen Plumbing charges because he felt so bad that Boen Plumbing over charged me. In addition to overcharging me $440 labor the plumber left a huge mess for me to clean up, did not put the dishwasher back in properly, and the sink still leaks!!! This is a nightmare.

These folks went out of their way to help us in an emergency. I highly recommend them! We had company coming the day our plumbing went out. Boen understood the situation and was able to work us into their schedule so that we would have water for our guests over the weekend. Kadda, Robert, and Glenn especially were outstanding in their service! Very friendly, patient, understanding and incredibly helpful. A very reasonable bill as well considering the amount of work we had done. I feel like these folks are my friends, and people I can trust to do a good job. I will call them again!
