About

Campbell Appliance Service Inc operates from Austin Texas as a local provider of HVAC work along with appliance repairs for homes across Travis County and Williamson County. Their base on Donley Drive puts them in reach of residents who deal with long hot summers that push air conditioning units to the limit and shorter winter periods that call for reliable heating. The company handles service on systems from multiple brands while also addressing breakdowns in household equipment that often tie into the same comfort needs. Homeowners in the area turn to them for straightforward fixes rather than drawn out processes.

Technicians from the company show up for jobs like dryer repairs on LG and Samsung models where parts must be ordered after an initial visit and the crew follows up once items arrive. They also work on refrigerators dishwashers washers and dryers for long time customers who have relied on the same crew for over two decades including a technician named Jo who customers remember for consistent results. In practice this means diagnosing issues on site collecting payment for parts upfront and returning to complete the repair once everything is in stock though some calls stretch over multiple weeks when parts delay occurs. Austin heat and daily use on appliances create steady demand for these exact service steps.

Customers give steady marks for quality on repeat appliance and HVAC calls along with fair pricing that keeps them coming back year after year. Communication draws mixed notes since some wait for updates on parts and scheduling while others appreciate the reliable follow through once work starts. Speed varies with simple visits finishing fast and complex ones requiring extra time for ordering yet the overall pattern shows solid outcomes on brands that homeowners use daily. What Customers Say

I only gave them one star because I was extremely dissatisfied with their conduct and their ability to diagnose the problem with my washing machine. They total bill was $322.59. They said that I had to pay for the part before they could order it which I had no problem with doing. Since I was paying with cash I went ahead and gave them $200. They did not have change of course. They told me the price of the part which I don't remember now but I told them to just go ahead and keep the change and put it towards my total bill. I was confused at their diagnosis because that didn't seem like it had anything to do with what the problem was, to me anyways. The washing machine was making a squeaking sound when it was turned on. They said that the problem was that a sensor for the cold water was not working and I needed a new sensor. I question them about the machine making noise and they said that the sensor was the problem. I should not have but I went ahead and gave them $200. After about 2 months of not hearing from them I called another company and they came and fixed my washing machine in just about 2 hours. The total bill from them was $148.55. They said that the problem was the belt. My machine has been working great since those guys repaired it. I will never give Campbell heating and air my business again. They have even refused to refund my $200.

Had service on 2/27 , had to pay half of cost and wait on part. Was sent automated text about invoice. Had to call about when part will be in. Was notified on Friday the 3/20 that I will get a call on 3/23 Monday with a time they could come out to finish fixing my dryer. And no I was not watching my phone waiting for them to call. On Tuesday I was told they called and left a message will be out Friday the 3/27 to fix the dryer. U were more interested in ur generated invoice but could not generate me with an update on when the part will be in. Be more interested in the service that u provide then the cost. I waited for poor service and was locked in by having to pay half up front. Now I know the real purpose of a review

We have used Campbell Appliance for over 25 years for our appliance repairs including refrigerators, dishwashers, washers and dryers including LG, Samsung, magic chef, and several other brands. We keep coming back to them because their service is excellent and reliable. We especially are fond of Josh. But every service technician from Campbell that has been to our house has always been respectful of our home and us. They explain issues very thoroughly and have always done what they promised.

Do not use. Called for dryer repair and tech came out. Was there 15 min and did not state what the problem was. Said they needed to order part me. That was 10 days ago. No notification on when they would be back. Charged $200 down to order part. Card service was not available so had to give them a check which they have already cashed.Every time I tried to called it would ring then change to busy signal. Contacted another company and they got it fixed today .

Someone was out in mid-December from your company to look at my Whirlpool refrigerator. The water dispenser in the door had stopped working. The technician took the water filter out of the fridge, took it to my kitchen sink and shook it real hard several times, then put it back in the fridge and tested the dispenser and the water came out. He said it was frozen. That fix only lasted a short time (less than a week). But it was a busy time and I did not call you to send someone back out. Time passed and the ice maker quit working. I didn’t call anyone until this month; a different company came; the technician removed the water filter and said it had froze up, he let the filter soak in hot water for 10 minutes or so, he adjusted the temperature setting on the fridge and advised me the replace the part that holds the water filter due to the age of my fridge. Today he came to install the new part; he discovered that someone had folded a piece of plastic and put inside the part that holds the filter in tightly. Since nobody but your repairman, today’s technician and myself has ever touched the filter, I feel like your repairman left it there. I feel like I was taken advantage of by the lack of effort your technician spent when he came in December.
