Home Energy Consultants

Home Energy Consultants works as HVAC specialists based in Waller County, Texas. They take on air conditioning repairs, heating fixes, and energy testing for homes and businesses around the area. The crew includes technicians who handle blower door tests to check how tight a building is and recommend improvements. Jonathan often leads the testing side, explaining findings in plain terms so homeowners know what needs fixing. Nancy handles the scheduling calls and keeps things moving, while Ruth wraps up the paperwork with reports and certificates. This setup lets them cover new construction, existing homes, and commercial properties without delays.

Customers call them for blower door testing that measures air leaks in a house, and the process runs smooth from the first phone call to Nancy through Jonathan completing the test and Ruth sending certificates fast. They also fix air conditioning units that quit during peak heat and install new furnaces when old ones fail. One job involved checking a heat pump and giving straight advice on repairs versus replacement. The crew works on ductless mini splits for additions and does full HVAC maintenance to prevent breakdowns. In Waller County homes they tackle insulation checks alongside the mechanical work so everything ties together for better performance and lower energy use.

Homeowners in Waller County praise the crew for showing up fast when systems break and finishing jobs without dragging things out. The quality of the testing and repairs stands out, with clear explanations that help folks understand their options. Pricing comes in reasonable for the work done, and communication stays direct from the first call through the final report. Nancy, Jonathan, and Ruth each handle their parts so the whole job flows without hiccups or extra costs. That consistent approach across speed, quality, price, and talking straight earns them top marks every time. DIRT Score 4.93 from 34 reviews on Finds.

“We really appreciated working with Jonathan from Home Energy Consultants. Unlike the competition, he takes the time to explain exactly what he's looking for as an Energy Rater, and is able to clearly explain his recommendations. Highly recommended!”

“excellent 5 star experience working with the whole team during the entire process. Spoke with Nancy on Tuesday, blower door test on Friday , completed with final report back all in one day. Jonathan showed up, walked me through the whole testing phase, completed everything as expected, pleasure to work with. I honestly wish all companies and services operated the way they do. 100% Recommended and endorsed.”

“Great company to work with for blower door testing, we have been using them for year. Scheduling with Nancy is always a pleasure, Jonathan is professional and efficient in the field, and Ruth gets the certificates out quickly. Fair pricing, responsive communication, and smooth process from start to finish. Highly recommend!”

“Nancy was a great help! I called inquiring about a state paid energy audit which they are no longer a part of. Even though she knew I wasn’t going to pay out of pocket she was incredibly helpful into all my questions and her professional opinion (make sure I wasn’t getting scammed by the other guys). The honesty and professionalism was top tier. In the future, whenever I need home energy improvements that the state doesn’t cover, this will be my go company. Highly recommend!”

“A truly wonderful company to work with. Everyone was so pleasant and helpful. I needed a project done in a timely manner and they came through ahead of schedule. I would highly recommend them!!!”
