“My air conditioning unit went out , and I needed a new unit. D n d sent Catarino and his son to install a new unit which included a new handler with a ultra violet light and new thermostat. Everything went smoothly from start to finish. They kept me informed along the way. Very friendly and highly efficient. Everything done and installed within two days of my air conditioning unit going out. Extremely happy with the service I received. Would highly recommend!”

“EDITED TO INCLUDE my new reply from their response “to offer to make it right”. You had plenty of time to do that. No thanks. Not even if it were free. We had a great experience with D&D at first, so much so that we purchased a second HVAC system from them for our rental property. Unfortunately, that's where things changed. The second unit had issues within weeks of installation, and eventually the compressor grounded out—a major repair. By the time it failed, my labor warranty had expired by less than a week, and despite purchasing nearly **$20,000** in HVAC systems and maintenance packages from D&D, they refused to cover the labor. That's their right, and businesses can make those decisions. What was far more disappointing was the lack of communication. Calls went unanswered, promises to help were never followed through on, all the while my rental sitting vacant for months. I ultimately had to bypass D&D and work directly with the manufacturer, Trane. Trane was excellent to deal with, and I ended up having the warranty repair completed by another authorized Trane dealer—for less than D&D quoted. I wasn't planning to leave a review. However, our first unit which isn't even two years old—is now experiencing issues that another HVAC company has attributed to poor installation. So, to sum it up: D&D is AWESOME until something goes wrong. The true measure of a company isn't how they handle a smooth installation—it's how they stand behind their customers when problems arise.”

“Like so many other air conditioners on a 92* day, mine went into a funk and went silent. Dog and I knew it was most likely a “clog”, common with our high heat and humidity but totally effective in ceasing AC operations. I am so happy to say that within but a few hours, Michael arrived, dealt with the problem, and suggested a way to avoid future issues with the “clog”. All of my dealings with D & D from new installations to regular maintenance and the solving of any issues have been totally satisfactory and would highly recommend this company. SJVL”
