Wetzel'S Heat & Air

Wetzel's Heat & Air operates their HVAC business from Wood County, Texas, right around the Winnsboro spot. Their main work covers air conditioner repairs and installations as well as furnace fixes and replacements for local homes. The hot summers down there put a lot of strain on cooling systems while winter brings occasional needs for heat that must hold up. Homeowners call them when units break down or when it's time for an upgrade to keep things running steady through the seasons without fuss. They handle both repair jobs on existing setups and new installs to match what each house requires in this Texas climate.

The outfit takes on AC repairs and installs across all kinds of cooling systems plus furnace jobs that come with straight estimates for swaps or fixes. At rental properties Paul White watched the technicians stay responsive and wrap the work on schedule with steady updates from start to finish. Kat Hillard noted the crew laid out the issue right away, arrived on the dot and kept things polite the whole visit. KJM credited John with fair rates on a clean repair while Chelsey Barber saw the group run a direct check that came across honest and got results on the first trip out.

Homeowners give them top marks for repairs that hold up over time, quick arrivals that limit how long a place stays uncomfortable, rates that stay clear with no added charges, and talks that lay out every step without confusion. These strengths show up on jobs fixing failed compressors or furnace breakdowns where the crew keeps downtime short and costs in line. DIRT Score 4.9 from 33 reviews on Finds.

“The team was great. Explained everything, showed up when they said, and extremely polite. Definitely our go to hvac crew moving forward. Don’t hesitate to give them a call.”

“We had a great experience working with this HVAC company at one of our rental properties. They were responsive, communicated well throughout the process, and completed the work professionally and on time. The technicians were knowledgeable, and the repair was handled efficiently, making things easy for both us and our tenant. We appreciate their reliability and would definitely use them again for future HVAC needs. Highly recommend!”

“Highly recommend Wetzel’s Heating and Air Conditioning. Friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Very competitive rates, and we will have no hesitation contacting this great local business again in the future. Thank you, John!”

“I rarely write reviews, but this one is well deserved. Finding an HVAC company that is both honest and competent can feel nearly impossible, but this team proved it still exists. From the start, they were straightforward, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. They took the time to actually diagnose the issue instead of jumping straight to the most expensive fix. Everything was explained clearly in plain terms, with options laid out and zero pressure. That level of transparency is rare. What stood out the most was their integrity. They recommended the repair that actually made sense, not the one that would make them the most money. The work was done carefully, the system is running perfectly, and they left everything clean and orderly. If you want an HVAC company that shows up on time, knows their trade, and treats customers fairly, this is the one. Reliable, honest, and clearly proud of the work they do. Highly recommended!!”

“We are very happy with John’s job. The furnace is beautifully and securely installed in a record time: two hours and half. Today we just refer a friend to John’s. Thank you so much for an outstanding job! Tin Nguyen”
