“Needing a lower monthly electric bill? Consider this company!! My brother used to work for a seed Milo grower. He had heard about this incredible Texas Panhandle company. His electric bill was out of control so his son researched insulation options and reached out a yr ago and one of companies top reps Trevor Bridges quickly responded and set a convenient time to provide a comprehensive thermal analysis. “We stumbled across Milo Insulation by accident, or maybe it was not. I really liked the fact that this insulation does not settle and lose its R value like what is currently sinking in my attic. One of my customers was having sinus and breathing issues in her home here in West Texas, so through a process of elimination we finally deduced that the dust she was getting in her home was the result of there being multiple breaches in the ceiling from an earlier remodel. To my surprise, Tom had told me that they were entirely full service, they would do the entire job turn key, to my liking, and would ensure that I was satisfied with the results. “I debated several options when getting insulation. More of the traditional fiberglass spray in, also the popular spray foam as well. I found that milo insulation looked to provide better R value than fiberglass and not as expensive at spray foam. I figured that the spray foam would take around 8-10 years at best to pay for itself. I think milo insulation will pay back in 3 to 5 years. The crew that installed was very professional and it only took about 4 hours. I had mine installed in Lubbock. In the past couple weeks we have noticed a more even heat all thru our house (built in 1975). Also, my house is all electric on a heat pump. Before the installation installation the heat ran more and ran longer and also had to use the AUX heat more often. If you have a heat pump you know AUX heat means you are going to be paying much for for electricity.. The proof will be overtime to see how our kwh usage looks over the next year. I will update information in a few months to indicate cost savings. As of now, we are happy with the insulation from MILO and I would recommend them to anyone I know.
