“I am updating a previous 1 star review: I have updated it now to reflect my overall experience now that the project is coming to a close. There were some initial communication issues that grew to become larger ones. Along the way, there were some foreseen and unforeseen circumstances that impacted communication and the project. Not knowing what else to do, I posted a review to which Daniel, the marketing manager, immediately responded. Daniel took ownership of the situation and reached out to people involved to ensure the project got back on track and that communication resumed. After that point, I received timely updates and it then became a waiting game for the permit to come through. To their credit, the company and people involved continued to work to get my project completed and when open communication resumed l, things continued smoothly and I had less to be worried about. Also to their credit, they received the materials in under a month and I believe the project would have been done in under a month, but there were some obstacles to overcome that dragged things out a couple more months. The installers they sent over were very professional, polite, and cleaned up after th”
“Very happy with the entire team. Start to finish courteous and professional. Job was started and completed on day scheduled and at the time agreed. Very good job.”
“I give 5 stars to Jay, Erick and Danielo who worked directly on my project. There was a small issue that needed fixed and these guys were professional, friendly and hardworking. They fixed it without question and went above and beyond. Workers like this are very hard to find these days and they are why this company is getting a 5 star review and any business owner should be proud to have hard working individuals like this on their team. Thanks again guys, you rock!”
“Home Stop coated my 2-car and 3-car garage floors 7-years ago and they still look great. So I just hired them to coat my three daughters 2-car garages (2 in Dallas and 1 in Fort Worth). They delivered in spades! Two of the slabs had significant cracks and an old coating that was flaking up in chunks. Home Stop grinded the slabs and filled the cracks with a poly material that’s flexible and will move with the slab to protect against future cracking. Then applied the base coat, custom colored flakes and a clear top coat. All three garages turned out beautifully! Home Stop’s attention to detail was outstanding, and all done at a fair and competitive price. I would highly recommend Home Stop for your garage floor coating project.”
“This project in March 2026 for a four season sunroom, it is June 12 June 2026, I only have the roof completed which was completed the second week in May 2026. I have called, texted and continually getting no response or someone will contact me. I am very, very unsatisfied. Will pursue legal action. I have already paid for the completion in good faith.”
“Warning to all subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors: Think twice before doing business with Home Stop. Our company has spent months chasing money we rightfully earned. We have been met with excuse after excuse, broken promises, delayed payments, poor communication, and constant assurances that “payment is coming.” We continued working with them in good faith because we believed they would make things right. Most recently, the owner disputed a $9,000 payment he had sent our company, claiming to PayPal that it was an unauthorized/fraudulent transaction. At this point, we can no longer recommend that any subcontractor, supplier, or vendor extend credit or perform work without secure payment. No small business should have to spend months chasing money they’ve already earned. We’ve learned this lesson the hard way, and we’re sharing our experience so others don’t end up in the same position. If you hear the name Longhorn Outdoor Solutions, do your own due diligence before entering into any business relationship. We understand Home Stop may be operating under or transitioning to that name, and we believe other contractors deserve to be aware and make informed decisions. We have ”
“Subcontractors beware. We were hired by this company/homestop to do several projects. I raised concerns on various of the projects due to lack of details and communication. Funny how clients didn't know we were going to show up or hadn't even seen drawings and we were already showing up to start work. A lot of the frustrations were from improper practices from pouring concrete on top of irrigation lines with less than a minimum coverage resulting in early cracking sped up by the heat and us being blamed and asked to do something about it. We attempted to overlay but seems like the slab shifted by then and we used a curing product which lasts up to a month before it starts falling off so the color was off. Footers we were asked for weren't marked even after I asked about this to make sure they were installed in the correct spot or at what elevation to pour. We were told none of the footers worked and that they weren't level. I offered at a meeting we had to repair anything that was incorrect even though it wasn't our fault as far as placement and we were never asked to do repairs after. Rather they did a backcharge for over $7,000 on their credit card payment which included projects”
“Absolutely fantastic company to work with. The quality of the work i can not be anymore impressed with. The guys really listened to what I wanted and delivered. Thank all very much. I would totally recommend to everyone and have.”
“Good communication, very professional team@ Erick and his team were professional and did great job, they even cleaned up everything before leaving. Doors quality are so good, I’m enjoying my small sunroom , bugs and insects free☺️”
“HomeStop Inc. did a fantastic job on our new patio cover! From start to finish, the experience was smooth and professional. Greg helped us design exactly what we wanted and made the process easy, and Luis did an excellent job with the installation — precise, clean, and efficient. The patio looks amazing and really upgraded our outdoor space. Highly recommend HomeStop for quality work and great service!”
“Absolutely love our new patio cover! It transformed our backyard into a cool, shaded retreat — perfect for Texas summers. The team was professional, on time, and paid great attention to detail. Worth every penny!””
“We are very pleased with the new garage floor. Jay and Joseph worked very hard to remove the old epoxy to well prepare the surface. It was tougher to remove then they expected, but they maintained a positive attitude and just pushed through to get it ready to apply new floor. Since rain was expected the next day, a two-day job turned into a one-day job. They worked late into the evening to get it done so that it would be dry before the rain. Excellent job by all!”
“Quality of work was a 5 Star! Lack of communication was a major issue. Project that should have been started within 30 days of signing, June of 2025. Finally finished the week of November 10, 2025. Communication and Customer Service are key to me, we got none of that. I wished I had read more reviews, as I would not have gone with this company.”
“I am providing this review to inform the reader of two things. First the disgruntled service I received from Homestop and secondly to prevent any potential buyer from having to deal with the issues I had to go through. I signed a contract for 2 applications. An MVB flake epoxy in the garage and a cool patio Hennacooldeck installation. To start i was told they would start on a Friday between noon and 2PM. I reached out to HomeStop at 2:30PM that day and they said that the installer was coming from Granbury and would be there in an hour. The contractors sub performing the install did not show up till 8:30 PM that night to do the grinding and first applications. During this process the installers were loud bantering in the garage which constantly woke people up in the house and didn’t finish till 11:45PM. They told me they would be back the next morning between 10-noon to scrap and provide the finishing coat. Looking at the work in the morning they spilled some epoxy on the drive way and one of the installers had been smoking cigs and put them out on the drive way which i had to wash off later. Waiting for them on Saturday i was told they were going to show up at numerous times through”
“The HomeStop crew arrived on time, worked steadily and professionally all day! They completed our garage project the same day and I couldn't be happier with the results. I would recommend HomeStop to anyone looking to upgrade their garage floor.”
“Took almost 6 months to complete because of order problems and delays. Then substituted quoted materials for builder grade. Installer was good, salesman not so much. I would look elsewhere for your needs.”
“Apologizing and saying "sorry" is the least you could do when you make a mistake. It's not even professionalism. It's a common courtesy.”
“Do not use this company! They will sell you a job, collect your money and try to never respond after. Jeff was our sales rep and never would answer after the money was collected. VP Michael made agreements he did not keep and also avoided answering phone calls or returning emails. This company is a joke. Take your time and find a company that is reliable and honest.”
“They did my garage floor Polyaspartic coating. They were so awesome. Very professional from start to finish. Their installers were very thorough and did a great job.”
“Eliana was good, she explained their product and the difference between polyurea versus epoxy. Their product is a little more than epoxy but the quality is incredibly better. She was very responsive to communcation. Erik and Danilo were great. They arrived early and explained the process. Also kept in touch through out the day with updates. Cleaned up their mess. Very satisfied with their work. Definitely would recommend.”
