“The entire attic insulation job was very professional from the initial phone consultation to the actual application. All questions were answered with appropriate description of the process. Before application of the insulation into my attic we discussed points of interest and the plan was followed. The insulation was layered very evenly and neatly into to the correct depth. It is a hot job but done write. The commercial equipment blower trailer used was heavy duty and 20 times better than any rental blower equipment. This home is very old and the original 40 year old insulation settled into the rafters. My new HVAC could not keep up to cool my 1400sqft home to below 78 degrees by evening as of early June 2023. NOW after the new insulation was applied the HVAC is not constantly running and I can keep the thermostat at 68 degrees with 98 degree weather outside:)!!! The price was great and well worth every penny! Note: I also run a dehumidifier now in my middle hall way to dry the air to about 50% humidity which makes it feel even cooler so I set the thermostat to 70. Thanks Melvin!!!:)”

“Very misleading from the 5 star reviews. First off, the Quality Insulation representative, failed to answer my first phone call and never responded to my voicemail. I waited roughly 2 weeks before calling again and was finally given an appointment. The company never asked me for my address, so i waited a few days for them to realize and nothing. I went ahead and sent them the address the night before to confirm the appointment. Day of appointment, the inspector did not have a ladder and neither did we. So he had to use my great grandmothers step stool with a bucket on top to climb into our attic. Then proceeded to take a quick 30 second video and left without putting the attic cover back on so i had to climb back up there to retrieve it. I only asked for the quote of the 220 Sqft Room out of the 1200 Sqft House. But the company was very persistent on doing the entire house for $3,000 which i did not need. I was finally able to get the quote for the one room after many attempts, which was quoted to me at $1,500-$1,600. Which would be half of the entirety, i politely turned the offer down. The company told me that it would simply not be worth the money to get the equipment set up ”

“I am not sure about the quality of the work, but I am definitely unimpressed with the service during the quote. Firstly, we agreed on a date and time to come and evaluate my home. At the appointed time, they did not show. So, I called and they said they would be here in 20 min. They were then late again (45 min total). When the representative showed up (the owner I assume), he had his family in the vehicle, had no ladder, no flashlight, and seemed completely unprepared. Normally, I don't write negative reviews. However, this company definitely should not have 5 stars. Three days later, a relative of mine got a quote from the same company and had a very similar experience. We will both be going a different direction. Given their 5 star rating, we were both very surprised and disappointed. Hopefully, this constructive criticism will help them improve to improve and help keep potential customers from getting their hopes too high.”

I priced going to Lowe’s and buying the insulation and running the machine, and found that Quality Insulation would do it for almost what it would cost me to buy the insulation and do it myself. The difference in price was so little that I just couldn’t imagine spending an entire day of my time doing it. they arrived on time and we’re in and out all cleaned up in less than two hours.
