“I was sold on the product before the visit from sales. From start to finish it was a great experience. I had them remove the old insulation in order to more easily have the HVAC, duct, and ventilation tube replacement done before the refill. They custom cut retaining boards to my specific attic after consulting me on how I wanted it designed based on my needs for attic space and were generous in the amount of insulation they blew in and even accommodated my request for a small change after they were done. Though I didn't get any other quotes for typical insulation, it was more expensive than I expected, but not excessive considering the benefits of this particular product. The labor was about equal in cost to the insulation itself, but the disposal was worth the labor. I did feel the add on options (garage package, disinfectant spray, adding additional retaining boards, etc.) were priced out of reach. I may have considered them if they were about half the listed price. All things considered, my wife and I were pleased.”

“It definitely was a cheaper option than some of the other products, like spray foam. Fiberglass and cellulose may be cheaper at the first, but in the long run Milo is without a doubt cheaper. The square footage was a little bit more than the living. When I first saw that I questioned it, but the explanation made sense. In the attic it is a complete open space whereas in the house there are walls. To get the SF you measure in-between the walls. They sent a picture of a satellite view of where they got the SF. It clearly did not include the garage, and the SF of the house will NEVER include the garage. The paperwork clearly stated that the garage was not included. I asked if they could include the garage and they said sure, but the square footage would increase. I chose not to include. It did have a natural scent that lasted for a few days, so if anyone says weeks they are not being truthful.”

With over 2500 square feet of attic space, the job took 2.5 days to complete. Each day the crew made sure everything was cleaned up. We are excited to have a "green" product that is biodegradable and will last a lifetime.”
