“I had a terrible experience with Robert. He ditched our commercial build out contract after his daughter went back to college in the fall of 2018. He said he didnt have any help anymore, even though I offered to support him on tasks that needed 2 people. I really wish I had hired someone else. He left a mess and a completely unfinished project. We opened 5 months late, and now I have partial vision in one eye, because I had to finish the job myself. I neglected my own personal needs and wore old contacts to get me through overwhelming 14 hour work days. One of the biggest regrets in my life was working with AWZ Contracting.”

“I see the two positive reviews on here and am surprised. My wife and I had a very negative experience. Bob was consistently late without calling, to include several no-call no-shows throughout the project, and ultimately never kept his promise to come back and fix the two most recent mistakes that he had made. After numerous attempts to get him to come back and fix those problems with his work, after over a month, I finally felt I had no recourse other than to begin contacting the Better Business Bureau, placing reviews to warn others, etc. - his response, in writing, was “Good luck.””

“Contracted with Bob Clark for a home remodel. He barely showed for work, always had an excuse and after 3 months working only about 6 days total he left the project with plumbing not connected, live wires exposed, loft railing on the 2nd story not in place and damage to structure of house. It is unlivable! He refused to finish job, claimed he was stranded out of state and said he would refund our money. Obviously, he didn't refund anything, wouldn't let him come in my house now and hope to keep anyone from being affected like we have! And as far as out of state, he was available to meet a friend within 24 hours less than a week later! I don't know how someone like this lives with themselves when they treat people like this and if you've been recommending him please stop. I checked his references and still ended up in this horrible situation.”
