BioTex Foam
Insulation Contractor · Georgetown, TX
About
BioTex Foam handles spray foam insulation sales and installation from their base in Georgetown Texas. The company covers jobs across the Austin metro including Round Rock Taylor Hutto Cedar Park Leander and Temple. Jared takes most of the calls and leads crews on both residential and commercial sites. They spray the material into wall cavities floors and attics where it expands to fill gaps.
Homeowners and builders have brought them in for additions on existing houses floors in a 1931 property new tool buildings three car garages and a 2250 square foot steel building converted to living space. Crews have also handled multiple commercial projects over several years. In one case the work made wood floors quieter and warmer during winter while cutting utility costs. Another job left a garage and shed ready for use after the foam went in and vents stayed protected.
Jared has returned calls over holiday weekends when schedules allowed and crews arrive on time. They tape off lights fans and other fixtures before spraying then sweep everything out at the end of each day. Communication stays steady through the project and the same teams return for repeat work on design build jobs and nonprofit properties. The listed towns make up their regular service area.
Google shows a 4.6 rating from 10 reviews. Reviewers often note clean job sites solid results on temperature control and utility savings plus crews that stand behind the work. One customer described problems with start times scope changes and pricing on an attic job.

What Customers Say
“We have teamed up with BioTex over the years on several commercial projects, which all turned out great, so I was excited for the opportunity for them to help with my own home addition. They exceeded expectations and left with a surprisingly clean jobsite. Thank you Jared and BioTex team for another job well done!”
“I hired BioTex Foam to work their magic on the floors of my 1931 house in Austin. They did an outstanding job in every way. Jared and his crew were professional and exceeded expectations. The result was quieter, warmer wood floors in the winter and savings on utilities. I will hire them again any time I need an insulation professional.”
“I had Jared come out and do a spray foam for our new tool equipment building and an existing three car garage. He called me over a holiday weekend and had a little slack in their schedule for the coming Monday. They were there on time, everything was cleaned and swept out in perfect. They did extremely well on taping up the existing lights and fans. We have another building going up and look forward to the next setting. Would highly recommend with a thumbs up.”
“I have worked with Jared and his crew on many projects over the last 5 years and I've always been very happy with the results. He has a friendly, professional and accommodating crew. The work is always well done, the site is left clean, and the communication is great.”
“Jared and his team are the absolute best for foam insulation. We are a Design-Build firm, and BioTex is always responsive to estimate requests and scheduling and they do excellent work. My collegues in the industry also use BioTex and are equally impressed.”
“I'm posting this on behalf of the nonprofit organization I work for - Reset Mentoring! Biotex Foam was so professional and their work surpassed our expectations beyond our wildest dreams! They left the house in such a neat and orderly condition once they were done with their work and the insulation job looks FANTASTIC. Would 100% recommend, we're blown away by their awesome service.”
“Working on a 2250sqft Mueller Steel building to make a home. Doing most of it myself with some help. Gave these guys a call. He explained a lot over the phone. I got a quote I was happy with. They came in, took care of business, and cleaned up before they left. Here came the test. Cold snap. I do not have an AC or Heater hooked up and running yet. I have dryer vent holes, bathroom vent holes cut in with those flapper devices. Still had 3 inch plumbing vent pipes wide open. It fell below freezing outside for 36 hours when i went to work on my house. I woke up Saturday morning and it was 17 degrees not including wind chill. I went inside my house to work on it at 5am and found the thermometer.... 58degrees!! Well worth it.”
“Professional and diligent. Spray foam is the way to go. You'll be amazed in your utility savings and also the comfort in your home. Great experience with Bio Tex!”
“Jared and his team did a stand up job and they stand behind their product and their service. I have used them several times over the years for various projects and no complaints here. Deke”
“I hired BioTex Foam to install spray foam insulation above my garage attic. I researched the industry and product extensively. Proper installation is very important for spray foam. BioTex was the most expensive but they had a great sales pitch about how good they were, how experienced their crew was and many other reasons to justify a premium price for their services. This was all a sham. BioTex's list of failings is long. They started the job late. The superintendent left the job early to start his long weekend (labor day). The workers then performed the wrong job and took most of the insulation out of my house, instead of only the attic as per the contract. The owner then refused to make a reasonable effort to resolve the problem his employees created. The following is a list of BioTex's repeated failures and lack of customer service. 1. They were a day late starting the project. 2. We had company coming to stay with us for labor day so I then asked to wait until after the long weekend to start the project. They assured me they would finish before the weekend. (My girlfriend is still upset about guests having to sleep on the floor because the spare bedroom was full of attic”
