“Michelle is friendly, punctual, and efficient — the work was done quickly and her pricing was fair. Those qualities earn real stars. Where things fell short: I wasn't informed about the type of insulation being installed (blown-in/loose-fill) or what to expect from it — that it would fly around when disturbed, cling to clothing and hair, and pose a breathing hazard if you go into the attic. I've had to vacuum the area beneath my attic door every time I open it because the insulation flies out. When I raised this, the response was that I could have researched the product myself before the installation. That may be technically true, but most homeowners hire a professional precisely because they trust their expertise and guidance. I was under the impression that informing clients upfront about product behavior was a part of the service. I'd still say she's good at the physical work. Just go in with your eyes open and ask detailed questions about the specific product before installation. Don't expect her to provide information without specific questions asked.”

“Called the company and Michelle, the owner answered. We set a time for her to come out and actually see the work area vs a quote over the phone so there would be no surprises. Showed up promptly at time set and surveyed our attic. Afterwards we sat in our living room and discussed the type of insulation, time job should take and pricing. She was very knowledgeable and informative of the insulation business. We mentioned other work besides the attic we might be interested in. She says we should wait to see if the attic insulation would be beneficial in the other work mentioned. No since in spending money if not needed. She could have said- Sure we can do that. She was competitive in pricing with other companies we got quotes from. A time was set for a couple days later. She promptly showed up started and completed job in a reasonable time. Would recommend Miss Her Insulation to anyone in need or not sure if insulation is needed.”
