Attic Projects

Attic Projects handles insulation work from their base in Irving, Texas. They focus on attic and crawl space services including insulation installation and removal, rodent proofing and removal, air duct repair and replacement, mold remediation, and full cleaning of those areas. The business also covers related tasks such as radiant barrier work, vapor barriers, and HVAC ventilation fixes in the Dallas-Fort Worth region.

Customers describe jobs like full attic insulation replacement to cut high electric bills, rodent proofing after finding entry points, and detailed inspections that include photos and diagrams. Crews named Johnny, Mike, John Jacobs, JD, Luke, Tishaun, Blain, and Aaron handled insulation installs, cleanouts before other contractors arrived, and evaluations of crawl spaces or ducts. Reviews note fixes for poor conditions, thorough cleanups that left spaces organized, and advice on when a job was too small for them to take on.

They show up on time, often within a day of the call, and work in rain or triple-digit heat. Communication includes clear quotes, pictures of problems, and step-by-step explanations during inspections. Pricing drew mixed notes with some calling it strong value and one review saying a rodent job quote ran far above other bids. Work covers the Dallas-Fort Worth area with crews arriving promptly for attic and crawl space projects.

“Johnny and Mike did an excellent job installing our attic insulation. They were professional, knowledgeable, and completed the work in a timely manner. Jason and John were also fantastic — very responsive with communication, providing clear quotes, easy scheduling, and answering every question throughout the process. Overall, a smooth and well‑managed experience from start to finish.”

“John came out to do an attic inspection and was amazing. The house was in very poor condition, but John was kind and understanding about the situation. He was able to provide pictures and information that was sorely needed. We will definitely be using them to help get the house where it needs to be. Thanks, John!”

“Awesome service, had my house rodent proofed by Attic Projects Company. Didn’t even realize all the ways rodents could come into my home. Personnel was courteous and professional when they provided my rodent proofing. I would definitely recommend to everyone.”

“I called Attic Projects for a quote to take care of a potential problem in my attic. John Jacobs came to my house and was patient and kind. He put together a detailed quote and explained the situation with pictures, so I could visualize what needed to be done. I appreciated his professionalism!”

“Had an amazing experience with John Jacobs and Attic Projects. He was incredibly helpful and thorough, spending an hour at my house providing an evaluation and feedback on the work needed. Even though the fixes I need are small and not something that they would take on, he reviewed an estimate that I had gotten from an AC company. He sat down with me, drew out a diagram, and gave me advice on working with the other company to get my AC situation fixed. When the time comes and I need help with a big project in my attic, I will 100% be calling these guys!”

“John did a very thorough inspection and spent a lot of time walking me through everything and explaining the process. I was scammed by two pest control companies and if a company is willing to stand by their work with a 10 year warranty that speaks volumes. Highly recommend.”

“John Jacobs was timely, kind, and very knowledgeable! My attic needed to be inspected by someone who is thorough and efficient! I’m grateful for his insight and care! I would highly recommend! Tell your daughter I said, “Wreck ‘Em Tech!” Thank you for your help!”

“The inspector arrived on time as promised. He was very professional and thorough. He clearly explained how the attic job would be performed, options I may have and the cost associated with the job. Give them a try for your attic project needs, I did and it was a great decision.”

“JD came to my house for an inspection and was extremely respectful, professional, and very thorough. We’ve had a lot of contractors going in and out of the house recently, so I really needed the attic cleaned out properly before the other work could continue. Attic Projects did a phenomenal job. The attic is now super clean and sanitized, and everything looks way more organized and ready for the next phase of work. It honestly made a huge difference. When I’m ready to do the insulation, I’ll definitely be calling Attic Projects back to finish the job.”

“We needed to get the insulation in our "new to us" home replaced. Electric bills were off the chart due to the AC units running more than normal. John came out and did a thorough inpection and offed an amazing price to us. Luke, Tishaun and Johnny showed up and walked us through the process. They are all very professional and very thorough. They got set up, and got right to work. Outside temps were in the triple digits and they just kept on going. They had the old stuff out in record time. The next day, came back, air sealed quite a few problem areas and had the new insulation blown in. We are extremely happy with the whole experience and are looking forward to a cooler home and lower electricity bill. If you need insulation done, done right, and an amazing job that wont drain the bank, call Attic Projects. Thank you Attic Projects for taking care of us. We appreciate it more than you know.”

“We recently purchased a new home that included a detached garage. My husband contacted Attic Projects to clear out and insulate the garage. The crew arrived on time and were very professional and courteous. They were very thorough and did an excellent job. We have another attic project that we will definitely be contacting them again!”

“We called this company to give us a quote to remove rats in our attic. They quoted us 10x what other companies did for the same work. 10 TIMES more. I am not exaggerating, they were asking for close to 13k for the job. This company will try to upsell you to no end and their cost for labor is ridiculous. Avoid, avoid, avoid.”

“Blain was great! He spent a couple of hours in a hot sweaty attic to investigate fully our rodent problems. He was very knowledgeable and thorough in his evaluation and recommendations.”

“For free 2 experts thoroughly analyzed my attic and presented their findings in an easy to understand manner. They offer more services than anyone else including attic ladder replacement. Insulation problems are usually more complex than just "add more insulation". Attic Projects understand this and offer services that deal with every part of the attic.”

“We went to the Dallas home expo looking to get our bathroom remodeled and wanting to do our Attic After. Attic Projects came out to our home to give us a quote. Aaron and JD came out…. those guys are amazing! Straight talk with no BS which we love, Impeccable Customer Service. They gave us an estimate after a complete inspection of our attic. Excellent price! Super excited to have their team come out and work their magic! Totally awesome!”

“Really appreciated Aaron coming by today for an attic / rodent inspection. He is clearly very knowledgeable and was very thorough in his walk through and report. Instilled a lot of confidence in being able to meet our needs.”

“I called and within 24 hours I had a technician named John at my residence to do a duct inspection. John showed up promptly in the rain. He did a through inspection, took pictures and explained everything. He gave me a quote with pricing. He was professional and quick.”

“John was amazing! He provided thorough, professional services. His expertise and wealth of knowledge was a sigh of relief. John provided answers and solutions to my issue. Thanks again!”

“John was SO HELPFUL in my plight to figure out a game plan to address concerns regarding my home. He was extremely informative and helped me to understand things, and was even super nice to my dogs. 10/10 recommend”

“The inspector John, was phenomenal. He apparently done a thorough inspection of my attic and took a host of photos to allow me to have visual evidence of what was going on up there. Thank you.”
