“Great experience, Cliff came out very quickly same day and was able to do a repair to buy me a little more time before I need to replace the unit. A competitor came by the day before and told me that the whole system was shot and needed replacing. The competitor used a lot of high-pressure tactics. Cliff was the complete opposite. He very patiently explained everything he was doing and showed me what I needed to know as a homeowner. And his pricing was VERY fair and reasonable. I highly recommend going with Coolest air and Cliff when you need any HVAC work done. I couldn’t be more satisfied with the whole experience.”

They replaced my old, torn up attic vents that were causing moisture issues in my attic, and they also insulated my garage so I can comfortably run my business out of it. “UPDATE: Just had to update my review and share how incredible my new system has been! I’ve had it for about seven weeks now, and the difference is unreal. The whole house stays quiet, consistent, and genuinely comfortable — no more freezing or boiling pockets in random rooms. But the biggest shock has been my electric usage. Since installation, my energy consumption has dropped by 70% compared to the same time last year, even with higher temperatures, according to Pedernales Electric Co-op and my bills reflect it too.(see photos). I received quotes that were one third the price and quotes that were double the price but no other quote or company offered anything nearly as comprehensive as The Cooles”

“Explained drain line improperly installed, left corner at p trap sitting lower than right side drain pipe, resulting in pooling of water in pipe until vacuum forms from pipe filling completely up with water like putting your finger over the end of a straw. Per proper installation a 1% grade or 1/8 inch drop per foot of pipe is required for proper drainage from pan, otherwise the vacuum force will result in switch housing filling with water. Will result in continued issues, and another trouble call, until drain pipe installation error corrected, I have had 3 services calls due to drain flood switch housing filling with water, now providing images, because invoices completely disregard this blatant error, it is easy to see the top of green pipe in left corners it’s higher than lower part of green pipe in right, the grade is backwards resulting in p trap end being lower than drain pipe, this is resulting in a vacuum forming from back pressure in pipe, filling the vent and p trap up to the pan flood shut off switch. This will not drain properly, and will continue to back fill pipe until corrected, 19k dollars, and 3 calls in the first 3 months of new unit for same issue that I spec”

“I have been using The Coolest Air for the past couple of years for any problems and for their twice a year maintenance plan. I chose them based on the reputation and reviews that I saw from many different people. They have not disappointed at all. Always quick to respond, repairs and maintenance done quickly and efficiently. But, most of all, have always been honest and presented me with all possible options and the pros/cons of each option. Never pushy and always keep my needs in perspective. Unfortunately, my unit needed another costly repair a few weeks ago. I was presented with the option to repair it (with a part that would potentially go out again in a few years) or to replace the entire system with a couple of options. “The team showed up at 7am, and 14 hours later, when the job was complete they left. It was a 100° day and they made sure that our house stayed cool by providing portable units in the house while they replaced our A/C. This was a great group of guys to work with. When something isn't working right with our system I am always so scared at what it's going to cost and how long I am going to be out of service for.
