“UPDATE August 2026: I’m updating my review because additional issues with the work performed by Wright have now become apparent. Wright was brought in by DR Horton specifically to address ongoing HVAC problems in my home. As part of that work, the system was upgraded from a 3.5 ton system to a 5 ton system, and Wright made modifications to the ductwork and HVAC configuration. At the time, I appreciated their efforts and trusted that the replacement system had been properly designed for the larger equipment. Unfortunately, less than two years later, I’m now dealing with several concerns involving that work. The second return Wright added at the air handler is severely bent and compressed in a very confined space. The outer jacket is now damaged with insulation exposed. I have attached photos showing its current condition. I have also been advised by another HVAC company that the supply plenum is undersized for the 5 ton system and is restricting airflow. This is particularly concerning because Wright was involved in upgrading the system from 3.5 tons to 5 tons. I would have expected the airflow requirements and plenum sizing to be addressed when installing the larger system. T”

“My technician is Nick. He was prompt for the appointment. He came to assess the damage and gave me the estimate. He told me in details about replacing my drain vent due to corrosion. I am very pleased with his visit. I like that he was honest with me about my needs. When I asked about cleaning my ducts, he said my home is fairly new and will not need duct cleaning for another 20yrs. He didn't try to upsell. Highly recommend Wright A/C.”

“Wow! Woke up to the air conditioner running at 77 degrees but we had it set for 72. Looked through Bentwater Life magazine at their list of preferred vendors and found Wright Air Conditioning and Heating. I called and to my surge said they had an appointment available in 4 hours. They arrived on time and notified me in advance via text message. My service rep was Eric Wuennenberg. Talk about a great guy! He definitely knows his stuff. Turns out our capacitor was out and we were low on Freon. Whew! Great company. Great job and I would highly recommend them.”

“Nathen could have came to the house and sold me a whole new system and I wouldn't have questioned it. I am a "smart guy" and had come to the conclusion that my compressor was seized after replacing a couple parts. I explained to him when he got here the situation. Instead of giving me the sales pitch I was expecting and ready for, he busted out his tools and went about diagnosing and checking my "brilliant" work. Sure enough everything was wired correctly. There was just one small problem that I couldn't see without a voltmeter. To make a long story short, Nathen earned your company a life long customer by not listening to the customer, while still listening to the customer. I will see y'all when I need more work and when I need a new system. P.S. my dog liked him and we know dogs are the best judge of character.”

“Eric got our whole system change out taken care of and looking sharp. Complete night and day from old setup to new. Came back and did a final walk and fine tuned the system. The install crew were awesome. The system, inside and out, is clean! Really smooth work. We figured out the best unit for what I needed and it was installed the next day along with adding a return and upsizing 2 other ducts. Really solid group of guys. Not a robot and I rarely leave reviews.”

“Had a warranty issue come up on a new home we purchased. The Wright AC & Heating installed the unit. Unit works absolutely fantastic 3 months in, but we had an issue with an odor coming from the duct to our master bedroom. We set an appointment up and Billy came out and looked at it at 8am sharp. He was well dressed, clean, and very professional, and did an excellent job explaining what was wrong. He had found the issue very quickly, which turned out to be a very simple issue involving the master bedroom duct that didn't get properly sealed during installation. He showed us before and after pictures confirming he correctly fixed the issue. Im a licensed service plumber and take professionalism in the home seriously, and Billy didn't disappoint in the slightest. He's a great asset to the company. He also got us set up with the bi-annual hvac checkup for $190, which i feel is a great price for peace of mind with our new home. All in all, our first experience with The Wright AC & Heat went incredibly smooth and we had a great experience with Billy.”

“I have been having issue with my AC unit since it was installed DR horton build my home 2025..several service tickets a rude customer service rep Ashley…my AC still not working properly as of today needs probably compressor, start kit. Etc…It has been tripping breaker running without cutting off for hours..have to put another service ticket in thru DR horton warranty dept. I just wish they could just replace unit something wrong with this unit. Please help!!”
