“I rarely leave negative reviews, but after this experience I feel it's important to share mine. I was told and quoted that this project would take approximately a day and a half, rounding to two days, scheduled for Monday and Tuesday. Unfortunately, that timeline was never close to being met. Throughout the project, I was repeatedly given specific arrival times and completion expectations that never materialized. I was told crews would arrive at 8:00 AM, then 10:00 PM, then 8:00 AM again, then after 12:00 PM, then again around 10:00 PM. Those times repeatedly came and went without work being performed or meaningful updates explaining what had changed. Instead of receiving proactive communication, I constantly had to reach out myself just to find out if anyone was actually coming. Because of the uncertainty, I had to repeatedly take time away from my own work to check on the warehouse, only to arrive and find no work being performed and no clear communication regarding when the project would actually continue or be completed. “Edit: July 26, 2026. They posted the copied response to this post. No attempt was made to reach out to me to actually solve or apologize for anything. It’s a pure facade of customer service. Bottom line up front: poor communication, repeated delays, and sloppy execution. I wouldn't use them again. I hired Koala Insulation (Pearland) for a large insulation removal and installation job on an older home. The removal went fine. Everything after that did not. Last-minute cancellation. I scheduled installation of mineral wool (batts and blown-in) for June 24 (multiple week lead time) and took the day off work, as the job was advertised as a one-day process. At 8:36 AM, 30 minutes before their arrival window, they called to say they didn't have the insulation for the job. They offered a $94 discount, which is a small fraction of the cost of a wasted day off. Unprepared on the rescheduled date. The crew arrived late the following week without enough hose to blow in the insulation. The hose sections they did bring were clogged from a previous job, and the crew spent most of the workday unclogging them in my driveway. Blown-in work, the bulk of the job, didn't start until mid-afternoon.”

“These guys worked very hard in a hot stinky attic, that raccoons and bats had gotten inside of for years. They removed all the old insulation , sanitized and deodorized, then put in new insulation. All in 4 hours. They did a great job as far as I can see, my old but ain’t crawling to inspect the rest of the attic. lol I’m very happy with the job and the price.”

“We had Koala remove and replace our attic insulation but in the process of removal, a PVC water pipe in the attic was accidentally busted, causing flooding in the house. Ryan and Amanda were wonderful to work with as Ryan immediately got in touch with his subcontractor, 1-800- water damage to come do remediation work. That's where things went awry. His sub strung things out, taking OVER a week to get things done and not doing it all at once. It was very piecemeal and it's owner, Nadar seemed to not have a grasp on what was going on nor checked up with me to see how things were going or came by to check it out himself, even after I called him and complained. There is MUCH more to that story than written here! I'm a patient man and understand things happen but Nadar's seemingly lack of care upset me and I let Ryan know, hoping he will consider finding a new sub for that type of accident. HOWEVER, as stated before, Ryan and Amanda were a joy to work with! Ryan called regularly to see how things were going in the remediation process. “Not really happy with insulation of attic.. Baffles were not installed all the way between rafters as they should have been. So now there's probably fiberglass insulation down in the soffet blocking air flow. The baffles they installed only go about half way across not all the way from rafter to rafter. See the difference in the pic. Cost was very good but quality of workmanship not so much.”
