Builders' Insulation
Insulation Contractor · Schertz, TX
About
Builders' Insulation handles insulation work out of Schertz, TX. The company runs a facility that receives material loads tied to their trade, with staff on site to manage arrivals and departures at the docks.
Truckers who come through describe long waits mixed with faster turns once unloading starts. One account notes more than thirty minutes just to begin and over two hours total to finish the job. Others point out that trucks already in the docks must move first, so new arrivals often sit until around eight forty five before anyone comes to unload them. A separate note flags the restroom as unreliable, with the flush failing at times and office staff asking drivers if they cleaned up after use. Some drivers report no trouble getting in or out and a quicker unload once the process gets going.
The business works with arrivals on a first come basis during normal hours, and drivers share that timing depends on clearing the docks before new trucks can pull in. Communication stays short and to the point from whoever is in the office that day. Service stays local to the Schertz area with no mention of wider zones or fixed pricing in the accounts. Response can stretch when multiple trucks line up, and the focus stays on getting loads moved rather than any extra steps.
Reviewers keep returning to the same points about dock access, wait times, and the basic condition of the facility. The Google rating sits at three point two from six reviews. DIRT Score 1.4 from 6 reviews on Finds.

What Customers Say
“Pretty quick to get unloaded here as semi. Do not use the restroom here. Even if it’s not clogged, it may not flush and they want you to play janitor for their poor plumbing. This is obviously a known issue as the guy in the office asked me if I “cleaned the toilet” after I left the restroom.”
“Drivers... do not show up @7am or even 8am to unload. They have to load up and move their trucks out of docks first, and then they'll come get you around 8:45am to unload.”
“More than 30 to start unloading and more than 2 hours to unload.”
“Ok to unload no problem getting in or out”
“TRUCKER THEY GET U UNLOADED PRETTY QUICK”
