“I highly recommend Southwest Wholesale Nursery! If you are looking for specific trees, they will have it. Not only will they have the trees in stock, the customer service is top notch! I have been looking for tall Juniper Brodies to help with my clients’ privacy screening and discovered the maximum height for Brodies are 10’. Going through the list of available junipers and seeking recommendations from nurseries were similar experience to hitting a brick wall. One of the tree nursery company I spoke to recommended I talk to Southwest Wholesale Nursery which turned out to be the best experience of this project. Evan Brady, sales from Southwest Wholesale Nursery is the person to talk to! He is extremely helpful and goes out of his way to find your perfect trees. He encouraged me to complete my wholesale application and the turnaround for approval was less than 24 hours! After I was approved, Evan sent me photos of 3 -16’ tall Juniper Taylors IN their nursery which I immediately reserved. “As a truck driver, this place is well organized. They have overnight parking before the gate for like 6 trucks. OPENS AT 6AM, unloading starts at 7am. Easy to maneuver around. Also, they offered me a washout, which I gladly performed by myself. Very nice.”

“Don’t waste your time unless you are spending 10k+. They do not care about smaller companies. Costumer service since Covid is just terrible. Be prepared to wait at least one hour no matter how many plants you are getting. Make sure to check all plants sizes/quality before leaving. They tried to sell me 1g plants as 5g.”

“Horrible place of business!!! Please I don’t want any comments about this place being wholesale! They are the rudest people I have ever come across! I was brought here by my landscaper who I have worked with for 6 years on all 6 of my properties in North Dallas. We have purchased here in the past following the rules by having my landscaper who is a great client of theirs! We tried to buy about 50 plants and trees from this place and they really did not want to help us and major attitudes about the whole process. I get the protection of the clients and end clients but who do you all think pays the bills for the plants. The way we were treated was complete bullshit!!! Be better people and be a better business!!!”

“I got whacked by the tornadoes that hit Dallas in October 2019. Southwest Wholesale Nursery replaced my damaged or destroyed trees and shrubs, including replacing two trees in front with 100 gallon live oaks. Despite good watering practices on my part, I lost one of the trees about nine months later. During the last year, I have dealt with lots of contractors getting repairs done to my home. Some of these firms have been good, some not so much. When I contacted Southwest about replacing the tree that I lost pursuant to warranty, I kind of expected a fight. Would they claim that I did not water properly or that, for some other reason, the loss of this tree was my fault? I dealt with Sales Manager Heath Grant. His response: Stuff happens, we gave you a one year warranty, you lost the tree, and we are going to replace it free of charge. Today they installed a new, 100 gallon replacement live oak, again, free of charge pursuant to warranty. Some companies have a culture of honor and integrity, others don't. Southwest is in the former category. Getting this tree replaced was a painless, indeed delightful, experience. I cannot recommend Southwest, and Heath Grant in particu”

“Don't waste your time calling. I was trying to help locate specific shrubs f needing to be replaced by the Feb. ice storm. If you are not a landscape company in their system, they will not give you any info or any help for that matter. I was turned away and told they are not accepting new clients. Guess they are too busy for acceptable customer service. Suggestion to Southwest, if you have someone taking the time to call you to place a significant order and they aren't a landscaper, provide the customer with one of your clients so you still get the business!”

“Every time I call these guys are NOT wanting to take any amount of time over the phone. Not necessarily rude, but definitely not willing to help over the phone. I had to tell the rep, "I can tell by your demeanor through the phone, you're least interested in helping me". Just take a few minutes as answering a few questions to help. Not that hard. I'm busy, your busy, we're all busy!!! Makes opening a new location difficult for me. I'm a 30k + cash buyer at another nursery (per job)!!! Literally had to call these guys 16 times in one day!!! Also, the voicemail is set to Saturday. How do I best serve our clients (since they're being put on hold because I can't get through to this place). This is not my first complaint of trying to get through to these guys. I can't always drive to the location to see if something is in stock. Lastly, the website isn't really update well either. After checking an order on 15-20 Emerald Evergreens, I got an email from Steve Taber, who said he closed my account due to lack of larger purchases.
