Multiple accounts note crews blocking gas pumps during lunch or smoking between jobs. Positive notes focus on staff who helped save time on certain mornings.

What Customers Say

“This company appears to do the absolute minimum while charging as much as possible. Our community has been using their services, and the quality of their work is consistently unacceptable. One of the biggest issues is their complete disregard for residents. They repeatedly leave a commercial lawn mower running directly next to the pool area, filling the space with exhaust fumes and the smell of gasoline. We asked them several times to please turn the mower off while it was not being used, but they acted as though they could not understand us. Once someone who spoke Spanish explained the situation, their response was simply, “We’re just doing our job. We’ll be leaving in a minute.” The problem was that they were not even using the mower. It sat idling for at least 30 minutes while everyone at the pool was forced to breathe the fumes. We were on the verge of turning it off ourselves. They eventually shut it down, only to move under a tree where they sat for more than two hours. As for the landscaping itself, it is clear they are not providing the level of service they are being paid for. The bushes are severely overgrown, the grass looks terrible because they only mow around the edge”

“6/22/24 Update - they came through today and ran the weedeater inside of my flowerbed again. It's surroundwd by huge stones. Do I need to surround it with orange cones instead? Original -They are only supposed to maintain the GRASS. They scalped my flower bed with the weedeater. I had lilies (bulbs) and sweet potato vines in the early stages. I had weeded the flower bed by hand twice this spring so it wasn't overgrown with weeds. I had a lot of time and money invested in this space. I posted pictures of what lilies and sweet potato vines look like. I don't know if it's reasonable to expect a lawncrew to distinguish what's a weed, but it should be self explanatory to stay out of a flower bed. I heard that our neighborhood HOA had scolded them about not edging, I think this was a deliberate FU reaction by the crew. I called and emailed the company before writing this review and only posted because the owner didn't respond.”

“I used this service for many years as the owner of the company lived in my neighborhood. Over the last few months of the relationship the yard crew would consistently leave the gate open at our property. This is a concern as we have a dog. This happened 7 times. This was discussed with management each time and we even had a meeting at my home with owner, work crew and supervisor. We finally had to terminate the relationship due to not being able to keep the gate closed. Our POA in this same neighborhood also had to fire Superior Landscapes as they failed to mow the neighborhood park on the agreed upon schedule. Their billing system is not the best and reaching someone by phone, text or email was very inconsistent. It took them 3 months to quote a landscape project due to poor internal communication and then they ended up being the highest quote. I have used multiple landscape and yard maintenance services for my businesses and personal use for over 30 years and Superior Landscapes has been the worst of all that I have dealt with.”

Kevin Roberts

“Just skip past this company. They cannot handle corporate accounts. property looked worse than when they started. Came to job one time without equipment and just stood around. didn't cut the back for almost a month thinking we would not notice. never weeded the beds in 6 months. trimmed half the hedges in a 6month period.”

“Best company for quality and reliability.”

“Let me give you MY personal review of Superior Landscapes .... Within this location were the landscaping thrives from .... Point of reference to this employer is within a remote location.... ... Located across the street from Texas Highway used to be located at...... Now there is a train station apart of the new developement that is now commercial... My personal opinion as their franchiser... They cannot properly adhiere to simple mow and edge properties and expect more than a monthly rate from their customers to supply a mom and pops ran business, pretending to feel commercial. You will find better help from your neighbor with a push mower. It seems as if all the equipment is there but nothing will make of this landscaping company due to interacial differences within the current two people manning the location for their own gain..... Poor quality mowing... No weeding provided... Clean up Cost does not mean they will haul debris.”

“Chamberlain Crossing- SBB - Please remove this company from servicing our community. They hide, sleep, blow grass on pool goers, do less than what they originally started doing. We are wasting our money on this horrible company's services.”
