“Doleva did the kind of job I wanted!! I have used a few tree services over time, but never one that I felt compelled to call again. If I ever need tree service again- I will call Doleva! I had a huge tree fall in by backyard. Nathan came out and not only gave me a quote but also explained to me what I should expect. Pricing was good, communication and updates were great. The work we very well done! They showed up when they said they would and arguably left the area cleaner than it was before the fall. Sure there were shavings from all the sawing they had to do, but there were not tons of sticks left all over the yard when they were done. They not just raked, they raked well. Totally different experience from what I had gotten used to. I had expected to spend an hour or so raking and cleaning up so the grass would grow where the felled tree had lain. I did zero work after the job. Thanks Doleva!!”

“I am an association manager in Austin and we contracted Nathan to remove some dead and hazardous trees and prune the trees in the large green space and along a street in one of our communities. The trees were blocking the sidewalk, walking paths, and hanging over the street, making it dangerous for people to walk and vehicles to park. Nathan went above and beyond for us - he spent a couple of hours on site with us to go over the scope of the project, educating us about the different trees in the community, where he would prune, and which trees should be removed. Nathan's crew pruned the right amount of branches, opening up the green space so sunlight can shine through. We spoke with one of the homeowners whose home is very close to some very large pecan trees that were pruned. He is very happy with Nathan's work and spoke at length about how beautiful the area looks and how the team cleaned up all the branches and debris. We will definitely hire Nathan and his team for all our new projects.”

“We have a huge crepe myrtle in the front yard. The leave have started to turn yellow, then fall. Nathan from Doleva came out less than 2 hours after my call. He said they have been getting lots of calls about dropping yellow leaves. He poured a systemic insecticide that will make the leaves poisonous to aphids around two of my crepe myrtles. He took about half an hour to chat, treat and make up the invoice. I felt the price was fair and will use them again for any tree issues.”

“Nathan and his crew were great! I had 5 large oak trees removed that died from oak wilt. They also trimmed some dead limbs from neighbors trees that were overhanging in my yard. “Nathan and crew cleared a ton of trees I had previously cut down and they removed several tree stumps. They also trimmed up the remaining trees to a healthy state. “2022 Update - we used Doleva again this year for some large limb removal. They were fantastic again. Told me up front it would be a few weeks until they could get to us and that was perfectly fine. However, she called me shortly thereafter to say they had a cancellation and could get me in the next day. This company really is the best and most reasonably priced tree service around…hands down. I will only use them. Period. We’ve used Doleva in the past and they were great. This year they came out and gave an estimate and set a date / time for service. Never received email confirmation of the estimate as told by the tech that came out. I attempted emails, text messages, and phone calls. Nada. Zero. Zilch. Savannah, the girl who answers phones and emails, has completely ignored our attempts to contact them. Don’t waste your time on these people. Zero professionalism. Zero. I gave them 1 star because it’s not possible to give zero. There was some redemption. They finally reached out and and got the job done yesterday although they had to return because they forgot to do part of the job. If you have stellar patience you’ll be good with this company. They once again did good work but ”

“As a retired Realtor who has dealt with every kind of service provider for my clients, I've dealt with many tree services, but Christ Doleva and his crew are the best tree people I've ever had the pleasure to work with. I have eight mature trees in my yard, and wanted to remove a damaged 20 year-old Bradford Pear tree. I also wanted to have some major branches removed from a number of cedar elms and a hackberry oak. On his initial visit to provide me with a free estimate, Chris listed to me very carefully and inspected each tree with me and he gave me a comprehensive estimate, which beat the competition without any haggling involved. We reached agreement and he told me the first available date he had to do the job was Feb 16, 2015, come rain or shine. Well Feb 16th arrived with a cold front and some intermittent rain, but a 8:45 AM, Chris and his crew of three showed up and were ready to work in 37 degree temperature. They came with fully equipped including a gas generated tree mulching machine. Chris explained that they kept to their schedule except in the most extreme weather, otherwise it upset his schedule for all his other jobs. Well in the next 5 hours he and his cre”

“Got recommendations for this company from a friend who needed some large trees removed. He was very happy. So if it is removal you want they might be the company. However, I only needed a “trim”. They butchered my beautiful tree. Due to a sudden illness I was in the ER during the trimming so not there to watch. Raised the canopy too far...at least three feet more then requested. Took the backside of the tree totally off. Now the tree looks like it is dying. If you use them....watch like a hawk if trimming. Tree removal you are probably safe.”

“They were hired by our HOA to maintain some neighborhood trees. The HOA board authorized the trimming and cutting of a potentially dangerous tree or two near the pool. The action this company took yesterday went beyond the scope of what was asked, and they told one neighbor they intended to take all the trees on the creek bank. In recent years we had experts from the city and from TreeFolks that walked our entire neighborhood and never identified these trees as dangerous. This company clearly runs a hatchet shop that just cuts more to get more money.”
