Yellowstone Landscape
Irrigation Contractor · Pflugerville, TX
About
Yellowstone Landscape handles irrigation along with other commercial landscaping work from their location at 3204 Rowe Ln in Pflugerville, Texas. The company focuses on services for community associations, commercial properties, and similar sites, including irrigation and water management as part of their overall offerings in landscape maintenance and related tasks. Their Google profile lists them under the landscaper category and notes topics such as yard care, lawn work, and HOA properties.
Reviewers have described repeated problems with irrigation repairs that never resolved issues on neighboring systems, crews damaging new sod with weed eaters even after direct instructions to account manager Josh, and dead shrubs left in place for months after a winter freeze. Other accounts mention tall grass and weeds reaching three to four feet, skipped mowing in multiple yards, and crews breaking items or cutting lawns too short so the grass burns. Positive notes include technician Zachary responding quickly on a San Marcos property and account rep Jennifer Rhea handling requests for an HOA at Caballo Ranch.
Work patterns described include crews arriving less often than expected, failing to return calls about missed sections or open gates that let dogs out, and drivers operating vehicles in ways that create dust or safety concerns in parking areas. Communication often goes unanswered for basic requests like plant removal or trimming, while some account managers stay reachable despite heavy loads. Areas mentioned in feedback extend beyond Pflugerville to other Texas locations with HOA contracts.
The Google rating stands at 3.4 though drawn from zero reviews on that platform. Common topics in the feedback center on incomplete job scopes, damage during visits, and slow or missing responses to complaints.

What Customers Say
“My condo HOA used Yellowstone for roughly three years. In that time, both I and other owners had serious issues with Yellowstone, particularly with their assigned account manager, Josh. Their irrigation person came out repeatedly to fix my neighbor's irrigation system, but it was never fixed. I had sod laid (by another company) in my yard, and specifically spoke with Josh to make sure that his crew wouldn't scalp my new sod with weed eaters, which had happened with him before. He promised me that it wouldn't happen, and that he'd talk with his crew. Well, it did - repeatedly. I reached out to Josh several times, but he couldn't be reached when I tried to get him to replace my ruined sod. Thankfully, my HOA board finally fired Yellowstone and went with another company, which is slightly more expensive, but is far more responsive and does better work. I'll have to replace this sod out of my own pocket. Don't go with Yellowstone - the work quality is scattershot, and the account manager is unresponsive and lies.”
“Zachary has been servicing our property in San Marcos for the past few weeks, and has been such a pleasure to work with. He consistently responds promptly and demonstrates a deep knowledge of his craft. I highly recommend this company for any landscaping needs, whether for residential or commercial properties. Their expertise and dedication make them a top choice.”
“Every week since this company started for our HOA i have filed a complaint with our MGT. For 3 months they have not done their job. There has NEVER been a full complete scope of work done properly. We still have dead shrubs in the front of the community from the Winter. They said they are catching up from the winter freeze. We hired them in April. They should not be taking more clients if they cant handle it. We have grass and weeds as tall as 3-4 feet. This is a HUGE disappointment.”
“Absolutely miserable. Our HOA hired this poor excuse of a company to do our neighborhood landscaping. When they actual show up (which is less frequently than one would hope for), they do an absolutely abysmal job. They do not know how to use a mower and they skip more spots than they actually mow. Last week, they skipped my yard completely but for some unknown reason, decided to open my fence and leave it open, allowing my dogs to escape later that evening. When I called to let them know that they let my dogs escape and that they missed my yard, they did not return my call. What a waste of space this “company” is.”
“Horrible landscaping company. They are non-responsive to basic requests such as dead plant removal and tree trimming. Avoid if possible. EDIT: Their response to this poor review is the first time I have heard from anyone of them. And of course you wouldn’t have my name as a client. It is our HOA. Don’t let their reply make you think they actually care. Many of the other reviews echo my sentiment.”
“These guys were were blowing the apartment complex parking lot where i live . they have this giant blower and the driver drove in between cars throwing sticks/leafs . they created a dust bowl of leafs, dirt and sticks .i had just washed waxed my car.... the labors wouldn't turn of the blowers or stop to talk to me ....when i called their office and offered a video of what their staff had done they refused to let me email to them and would not provided any form of support . terrible terrible company.”
“Jennifer Rhea is my account rep for Caballo Ranch. She has worked tirelessly to help me with this HOA. Anything I have asked for, she has come through. Despite having a full load of accounts, she always makes time for me and this association. I truly appreciate her and her efforts along with the many other individuals that service this HOA. Thank you Jennifer and crew for always working so hard for me.”
“The landscapers are horribly unprofessional: They already have broken things in our yard three times and the manager is totally incapable of responding to any messages. Most of the times they cut the lawn so short that it actually burns and damages the grass. I wish our HOA would chose a different company because they are a waste of our resources.”
“When driving a company vehicle which is advertising for that business, they should drive respectfully (and legally!!). I just about had an accident with a Landscape USA truck pulling a trailer with heavy equipment blow through a stop sign around a corner forcing me to brake heavily so I didn't hit them or vice versa!! I would not do business with a company that employs such disrespectful drivers!”
“They don’t return my calls. They don’t consistently mow the lawn. When they work on our community’s common areas, they skip some of them. Poor service”
