Platinum 36 Grass & Installation

Platinum 36 Grass & Installation runs sod supply and install work from their spot in Richmond, Texas. Paul oversees the business and they stock St. Augustine, Zoysia and Bermuda grass sold by the pallet or piece. They handle both home and business jobs with free estimates and deliver or install across Richmond, Sugar Land, Katy, Rosenberg and Missouri City. The crew focuses on fresh cuts brought straight from the farm and placed on prepared ground.

Homeowners call when shade from big trees leaves half the yard thin or when low spots collect water after rain. Paul visits to pick the right grass type for sun and shade conditions, such as Palmetto St. Augustine. Crew members named Chris, Devin, Que, Quincy and Jordan clear old debris, add top soil and lay the new sod in a single day. Results include yards that look full and green again with better drainage in the fixed areas.

They return calls the same day and often schedule delivery plus install for the next morning. Prices stay competitive with what people pay at big stores for the product alone. The team arrives on time, works through the job without delays and checks back after the grass goes down. Service reaches the towns listed around Richmond and includes both small patch fixes and larger yard replacements.

Reviews mostly rate the company at the top for fresh product, steady installs and fair costs. Common notes cover quick turnarounds, polite crews and grass that holds up after a few weeks. One review flagged a driving incident on the highway.

“Paul (the owner) was easy to work with and very helpful. Pricing was competitive, but his customer service pushed it over the top. Chris and Devin with the installation crew showed up on time as promised to install 4 pallets of soil & grass. Yard never looked better! Both of these gentlemen were polite, professional, and most of all did an EXCELLENT job of making sure the installation looked amazing. From start to finish, I would highly recommend Platinum 36 Grass for any premium sod projects you have!”

“My experience with Platinum 36 company has been pleasant from the beginning to the end. With a large birch tree and two large holly trees in my back yard I were dealing with one half of my yard shaded and the other half of the yard in full sun. After a tree specialist trimmed and opened the canopy of the trees i could address the sad state of our grass. Mr. Paul from Platinum 36 came to my home and quickly recommended Palmetto St. Augustine. The replacement sod was cut fresh and delivered the same day of install. Chris and Que work all day with debris removal, top soil placement and sod install. It looks great!”

“Called one day and got pricing, setup for delivery and installation for the very next morning. 3 1/2 pallets of Saint Augustine sod delivered and installed was just a little more than two pallets of Saint Augustine sod from Home Depot and installing it myself. I’m here to tell you that these folks are extremely efficient and very friendly. Installed in about two hours. Extremely Extremely pleased!! 10 out of 10 definitely recommend!!! Had some low areas that held water and it’s been fixed!”

“5 stars is not enough! I just had an amazing experience with Platinum 36 grass and installation! From start to finish, they were incredibly helpful and communicative. They really took the time to understand my needs and even offered to install two types of grass, which I loved. The work was done fast, and the results are fantastic. I highly recommend them. Amazing work done. I'm so excited with the outcome and have zero complaints. My front yard looks great! Shout out to Quincy and Chris for a job well done.”

“I recently had sod installed in my backyard, and I couldn’t be happier with the results! Paul was my main contact—he was professional, punctual, and super easy to work with. The entire team did an amazing job, and the yard looks absolutely beautiful now. Thank you, Paul and team, for a job well done.”

“Absolutely fantastic job by all involved. Quincy came and did our estimate and their team was hard at work the very next morning and done by the early afternoon. Our yard hasn't looked this good in years and the price was more than reasonable. They even helped us with getting some repairs done to our sprinkler system that same day! Highly recommended.”

“Paul assisted me in identifying the right type of grass that will survive even without sufficient light. Then, Chris and Jordan did a great job of cleaning the area, putting the topsoil, and planting the palmetto grass. They did say that they wanted the customers to be happy. Indeed, we are. Kudos to the team.”

“One of you drivers just cut us off on the exit of 90 and Texas parkway/gessner causing my husband to slam on his brakes or else we would have hit the back of the truck. Very irresponsible and dangerous!!!”

Excellent work done at a very reasonable price. Great costumer service was given by Mr. Paul from coming out for quotation and after laying coming out and checking how it looks.
