“The work they do is good and they are reliable but I will not work with them again due to their pricing. Jacob came out to diagnose sprinkler issues and the pipes had been punctured by tree roots. He had to dig under the concrete driveway extension he had poured for us previously to remove tree roots and fix the pipes. The first leak he fixed I received an invoice for $400 for 2 hours of work. Another leak was found and it also took 2 hours to fix and after finishing I received an invoice for $1100 with a discount of $950. They said the extent of the work meant higher service charge. Other small local irrigation companies I have used gave me itemized invoices for similar work and their hourly rate was $180/hour. **RESPONSE to the owner: Final negotiated charge to me was $2650, not $2450 and that was after me pushing back on the pricing. I have texts telling me their normal charge would have been $3650 but they were "helping me out". $2650 for 11 hours of work is $240/hour. So again, I recommend getting quotes from other small businesses that charge $180/hour instead of this company that says their normal charge is closer to $330/hour and negotiated with me down to $240/hour. Jacob returned my call immediately, was polite and professional, and quickly arranged for someone to come out to assess my home and provide a quote. That level of responsiveness gave me high expectations. Update: I have spoken with Lauren, she fully understands what I wanted. I never stated I wanted to be involved beyond watching and making sure the installation was going smoothly. I have every right and a obligation to be on my property while workers are on it. Due to the possibility someone gets hurt. Also no call back for an entire week is not full communication. You are not going to blame me for you mismanagement and incompetence.
