“Daryl charges almost double what most mowing services charge, but based on our conversation, I agreed. We talked about other projects that he was to get back to me with estimates. At the first service, his helper chopped down 50 new Jasmine plants that had been growing all summer as ground cover. He thinks that now charging me $55 for the mow is compensation for cutting them down and feels they will grow back. Some are dead because they were cut so low. The point is he didn't accept responsibility. When I reached out to him a week later to ask how he was going to handle it...in response to him texting me to tell him what I wanted him to do. He claimed a breakdown in communication and blamed me for it. I had my reasons for not making a decision that day and that is no excuse for his unprofessionalism. He claims he cant do the jobs we talked about either. All and all, he didn't want to take responsibility for his mistake. There are better folks to do business with.”
