Landscape Express

Landscape Express handles landscaping work in Denton, Texas as a second generation owner operated full service company. Nicole Jordan and her husband Ricky bought the business from Mark Gober in 2019 after she had worked with him for years. The only people assigned to projects are company employees. Services cover landscape design, lawn sprinklers and irrigation, outdoor living spaces, retaining walls, walkways and paths, backyard fire pits, outdoor kitchens, fence flower bed and tree services, and professional gardening.

Customers have described projects that include patio extensions paired with backyard landscaping, flower bed edging, front and side yard redesigns, masonry work with stepping stones, drainage corrections that stopped yard and sidewalk flooding, stone rebuilding around flower beds, sod and plant installations, and general yard cleanups with mowing. Luis and his crew handled many of these jobs while Lorenzo and Vanessa led others. Reviewers noted that the teams paid attention to details during each phase and delivered results that matched the original plans.

Reviewers mention that Luis stayed in regular contact, answered questions promptly, and remained on site to monitor progress. Jobs often finished in a timely way with crews completing work within two days and returning the next day to check sprinkler systems or address small issues. Prices came in at levels described as reasonable or friendly compared with other bids. Nicole visited some sites to review the work in person. Crews cleaned up between work days and at the end of projects.

The company holds a five star rating from forty one Google reviews. Recurring comments focus on clear communication throughout projects, knowledge of plant and sod options, professional conduct, and follow through after completion.

“Landscape Express rebuilt the stone around my flowerbeds and did a fabulous job. They were quick, provided a quality product, we’re very friendly and easy to deal with. I cannot come up with enough superlatives for their crew, their management and the way they do business.”

“I can't say enough good things about this company. Luis was extremely knowledgeable, professional, and helpful; we explained what we were trying to accomplish and he suggested sod varieties, plants, and landscaping techniques that could achieve it. We got some other quotes and their people were basically like "yup, trim the trees. Yup, new sod". Luis went into detail discussing with us why things were needed and working on solutions for us; the bids we received were comparable. When we got scheduled he and his crew were done within two days, and cleaned up between days and at the end; they even washed the sidewalks and came back the next day just to make sure the sprinkler system was working correctly. Dealing with Landscape Express was a breath of fresh air; we didn't have to fight with them or remind them of anything, they took care of everything and went above and beyond. I'm still just getting up and walking outside a bit each day just to enjoy how good our yard looks now. We'll definitely be using them again for any landscaping needs we have in the future!”
