WinterGreen Synthetic Grass | Artificial Turf Installation Fort Worth, TX

WinterGreen Synthetic Grass installs artificial turf for homes and businesses across Fort Worth and the DFW area. Winter runs the company and oversees projects that cover residential backyards, front yards, pet areas, pool surroundings, putting greens, sports fields, and drainage work. The business also handles infill addition, odor treatment, debris removal, and turf maintenance. Services extend to commercial sites such as apartments, schools, hotels, and golf simulators, with all work performed in-house rather than subcontracted.

Reviewers describe backyard transformations that added turf borders, mini golf putting greens, chipping areas, and concrete zones for basketball or pickleball. Crews led by Mike, Michael, Charlie, and John prepared ground, adjusted layouts around existing sprinklers and drainage, and delivered level surfaces suitable for pets and barefoot use. Multiple customers noted repeat projects after initial turf installs, with follow-up work on maintenance and expansions that kept yards functional without mud or grass tracking indoors.

The company responds promptly to calls and questions, provides design input during consultations, and coordinates schedules around weather or other contractors. Crews arrive at consistent times, maintain clean job sites, and finish within agreed timelines and budgets. Service stays limited to the DFW region, with communication handled directly by the owner or sales staff like Charlie Baxter when issues arise during installation.

The business carries a 4.9 rating from 219 reviews. Customers repeatedly mention professional crews, durable turf quality, and reliable follow-through from estimate through completion.

“Wintergreen Synthetic Grass did a fantastic job! Winter and his company came to me as a recommendation, and they did not disappoint. From our initial consultation I could tell that Winter had a complete knowledge of his products, but also in the application of his products to an established neighborhood. The workers for Wintergreen have an eye for details a homeowner will appreciate. The process can take a little time if access is limited, but you will not be disappointed. I would highly recommend Wintergreen Synthetic to anyone that appreciates quality construction and competitive pricing!”

“Hands down the best company to work with. Mike always makes sure everything is handled correctly. The work speaks for itself… every job-site is ran cleanly and treated with respect by outstanding crews.”

“This company did a fantastic job and exceeded my expectation! The crew was very clean, had great equipment and new vehicles. They made the proper adjustments necessary to insure the work would look great when finished. The GM was very easy to communicate with and worked great with my landscaper and dirt contractor to make sure everything will work well together. The putting green is very challenging and provides endless fun for my family and friends and really makes the space pop! I highly recommend them! They even provided some great references for other work I needed as well!”

“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I couldn’t be happier with the experience I had with Wintergreen Turf! They completely transformed my property, and the finished product exceeded my expectations. The crew was professional, kept the job site clean throughout the project, finished on time, and stayed within the agreed budget. I had the pleasure of working with Michael, and he was outstanding from start to finish. He took the time to explain the different turf products available, answered every question, and helped me choose the perfect option for my specific needs. His knowledge, honesty, and attention to detail made the entire process easy and stress-free. If you’re considering artificial turf, I highly recommend Wintergreen Turf. Their quality, professionalism, and customer service are second to none!”

“I’ve used Wintergreen twice now and have been really impressed both times. They’ve helped me maintain my turf backyard over the last couple of years, and it still looks great. I recently added a turf border and a putting green around my pool, and the whole process was smooth from start to finish. The crew really listened to what I wanted and brought it to life. Everyone I’ve worked with has been kind, professional, and great at what they do. I’d definitely use them again.”

“Top notch company. I talked to the owner anytime I had a question or concern. They do all work in house and don’t contract anything out. I can’t express how happy we are with our professional grade green. Worth every penny!! Wintergreen is the only way to go!”

“We had two projects completed by WinterGreen Synthetic Grass. The first was a turfed area for a sun deck area around our pool and a Chess/Checkerboard area. Those turned out so good that I was convinced we needed to maximize our backyard space with turf. Mike came out and did a full consultation and design proposal. I wasn’t originally planning on or didn’t even think about a putting green, bunker or chipping area but they had great vision. The proposal was within budget, and the design was awesome. We have had a lot of contractors here, all very good, but WinterGreen was top notch. Their team was punctual and showed up every day at the same time and finished at the same time. They kept the area clean, they were extremely professional… even giving me assistance and ideas on our fencing project that we are tackling ourselves. Very professional! The end product was beyond my expectations. Our kids have already played out there basically every day and if I can’t be found…I’m putting and chipping out back! Five star quality and installation. If you are considering turf, these guys need to be your choice!”

“It has been a pleasure to work with Wintergreen Synthetic Grass. The installation crew were amazing! They were polite, diligent and tidy. The end result was perfect! I highly recommend WinterGreen and synthetic grass. The aesthetics are green and beautiful. We really like having no maintenance but also it’s a luxury to walk barefoot on the perfectly level, soft grass. No muddy dogs either! It eventually pays for itself and adds value to your home. It’s a no brainer!”

“What a great experience! We hired Charlie with Wintergreen to complete our backyard Oasis! After the Texas rain delays put us a bit behind schedule for our mice in, when the clouds cleared and sun was back .. Wintergreen and their amazing crew was right there to compete our job in 4 days! We were blown away by the professionalism and precise workmanship! Thank you again for you part in completing our forever dream home!”

“WinterGreen was great! Michael got out to bid the job soon after initial contact, and he was responsive when I had questions about my quote. WinterGreen was upfront about the timing for the job, and was even ready to install before I was ready, and they worked with me to find a good spot on our schedule. When WinterGreen finally made it out to install the turf (Trek...so soft), the weather was cold, but that did not stop the crew from working hard for three days to make the job look amazing. From ground prep all the way through the last stake in the ground, they worked hard, communicated well, and asked questions if any arose. The end product looks great, and it is greatly enjoyed by humans and pets equally. All of that, and WinterGreen had a very fair and competitive price to boot. Use WinterGreen!”

“10/10 experience working with Winter and his crew. They worked quickly, professionally, and addressed any concern or question we had along the way. I would without a doubt recommend them for your turf needs. We love the way our backyard project turned out!”

“Love the look and quality of the turf put in my back yard. I appreciated being able to reach out to Charlie and John when I had a question or wanted to make a last minute change. I had a neighbor who was concerned about their yard, and the WinterGreen Team took the time to reassure them that everything was going to be okay. The team even hauled off some backyard. They kept the integrity of my yard in tact - from sprinklers, to drainage throughout. Definitely a yard I plan to spend more time in”

“We recently had our yard renovated, and we couldn't be happier with the results! The project included removing the existing grass, installing turf, creating a mini golf putting green, and adding a concrete area for basketball and pickleball. The entire process was smooth, and the quality of the work exceeded our expectations. The team was professional, efficient, and detail-oriented. Now, our yard is not only beautiful but also incredibly functional for our family. Highly recommend their services!”

“Charlie and his team were fantastic! They installed a beautiful putting green and some artificial turf in my backyard. I interviewed 5 different vendors and I am so happy I went with Charlie!! The crew was on site every morning at 7am, super respectful and hardworking, and the quality was exceptional. I didn’t have to point out one thing to fix in the end. A+!!!”

“Wintergreen is great to work with from the first estimate to completion of install. Our sales rep Charlie Baxter was super and kept us informed on schedule as our install date approached. The crew was very thorough, professional and did great work. The finished product is beautiful. Wintergreen was very competitive on pricing and high on quality. We highly recommend!”

“Charlie Baxter and Wintergreen Synthetic Grass did a great job with designing my backyard putting and chipping area! Multiple visits in the design process and provided valuable feedback and offered suggestions for improvement and playability. I went with the TruPutt putting surface and pleased with the outcome. His team did a great job with getting the green rolling! If you are considering turfing backyard by the pool or installing a backyard putting green, I highly recommend!”

“We are beyond happy with our new backyard. It’s been a complete transformation. Even our husky loves laying on it. Wintergreen truly exceeded our expectations and we would recommend them to anyone interested in pursuing artificial turf.”

“We had Wintergreen install turf in our backyard just about 3 weeks ago. We couldn't have been more happy with the whole process and the yard looks fabulous! They do outstanding work and clean up very well after they're done. Our 2 Great Pyrenees mix dogs love the new yard. I was kind of curious how they would react and whether they would be able to tear it up. Absolutely no problems and the house is so much cleaner now that they're not tracking grass and mud inside. I do not hesitate to offer my highest recommendation for the folks at Wintergreen!”

“WinterGreen did a fantastic job transforming our backyard with synthetic grass and a putting green. The crew was very professional and went out of their way to keep the space picked up and clean. Customer service was excellent from start to finish. Highly recommend!”

“Wintergreen is a fantastic company to work with! We had them at our property in 2020 for a project and they did so good that we called them to help us finish the rest of our backyard in 2022. They are super professional, very responsive, and the quality of work is top notch. I highly recommend this company if you are looking at getting synthetic grass installed in your yard. Hallelujah, no more mud in the backyard!”
