“I had a very disappointing experience with this company. My delivery was already delayed by one day. When the grass finally arrived, it was left in the front yard despite clearly requesting it be placed in the backyard. Because of this, I had to urgently hire someone to move it myself to avoid delaying my scheduled installation, which cost me $45 out of pocket. Communication was also very poor. I tried calling and texting multiple times, but they were largely unresponsive and did not take responsibility for the issue. On top of that, the quality of the sod was below expectations. The pieces were very fragile and difficult to handle without falling apart, which made installation more challenging than it should have been. Overall, this was not a professional experience, and I would not recommend their service.”

“This is a review of interactions, not Amazing Creations/ Amazing Grace products because I got the runaround before I could ever buy anything. Thankfully, I've not wasted my money as many others have as observed in these reviews. I contacted them for an estimate and after a phone conversation and a couple days of typical follow up texts, Kevin made an appointment with me with an approximate time, then updated me with an accurate time as promised saying he would be at my house in 30 minutes. Within that timeframe, a man in a pickup pulled up to my house, paused as if he was parking, then proceeded to drive away. 30 minutes later, Suspecting it could 've been Kevin and that for whatever reason he decided he didn't want my business, I used my business phone to call for an update. Someone else answered and after the gentleman reached out to Kevin, he updated me saying that Kevin was still on his way and would be there "soon." The gentleman must've given Kevin my business number because Kevin then texted me on that line saying that he was caught in traffic and wouldn't be able to make it, but would reach out the next day. Wanting to keep our text conversations on the same number, I texte”

“We hired Kevin to correct drainage issues in our backyard and to install new sod in the back and a small area of the front in the early spring of 2023. He provided quotes and we agreed on the work. While we are satisfied with the function of the drainage solutions, we are NOT satisfied with Kevin's promises to return and replace sod that did not grow properly. He continued to respond with "give it a little more time to grow" and now, 7 months later will no longer respond. We are left with patchy sod in the places that we originally identified as not good. Additionally, his crew did not properly prepare the yard for sod install as I personally spent the majority of the summer pulling up our old grass type where it grew between pieces of sod. Kevin's crew also damaged our irrigation and the "repairs" provided were not satisfactory and we have had to pay for irrigation repairs on top of our payment to Amazing Creations. The final comment is that Kevin did not listen to us when we let him know that we would have the Belgard walkway removed (for another purpose) where they needed to run drain pipes. Instead, his crew caused a collapse of the walkway that was only 4 months old at”

“Don't use Kevin. He made some suggestions during the walk through after quoting and never mentioned additional pricing. Got the bill and he added over $10,000 to it with pricing I NEVER would have agreed to. Also, as per other reviews, he promised to come back and replace sod that did not take. After months of delays he ignored me. I went to his office and face to face he promised to come out the following week. Didn't come and told me he had to leave town. Now he's ignoring me again after I gave him way more patience than he deserved. He seems honest and caring but in reality you mean nothing to him after he gets paid. DO NOT use Kevin. I wish I never did and anyone on Flower Mound social media looking for landscapers will get my two cents.”

“So glad we found this place! We needed to lay new sod in our front yard and decided on zeon zoysia. We ordered one pallet and installed it ourselves over spring break. After a few weeks we decided to order another pallet. It took several weeks because of the crazy Texas weather, but Kevin was great and let us know when they were able to get zeon back in stock. Both pallets were high quality sod and reasonably priced.”

“Initially my interactions with Kevin and his crew were positive. He came out and gave me an estimate for installing some French drains. When the workers arrived, I went ahead and requested some additional footage to go ahead and really solve both sides of the drainage around my house. The work was performed and the drains do a good job of what they are supposed to do. In the meantime, the workers put two large dents in my A/C security cages (only saw this after they left and I had paid) and when covering back up the trenches covered the lines with lots of gravel. When I initially asked him about fixing this so that grass would grow back, he stated he would come and rake it. But as soon as I paid, he has virtually disappeared and been completely nonresponsive. It's been over a month and I still don't have grass growing back where they dug, all because they didn't rake all of the gravel out once they were done. I've sent pictures and texted Kevin multiple times showing him the issue, and also called, and he has not reached back out. He took the money and ran, basically. Do the drains work? Yes. Am I happy with the job and quality of work performed? No. When you pay as much as I did ”

“Disappointed. We were on a really tight timeline to get our landscaping updated for listing photos. Kevin and his team worked in the rain and mud to get it done. For that we are truly grateful. However, had we known that the options were either green sod or timeline, we would have pushed back our timeline. Our project was specifically for photos and we were told it would be green for 21 days before it went dormant for the season. Instead we got a patchwork of yellow, green, and downright brown sod. In the end we were told it will "green up" in 10-14 days. Not sure how well that works in the 21 day dormant timeline but it is pretty disappointing. Especially frustrating when they also brought a small amount of lovely green sod, so we know it exists. We wanted to be happy with the result since their workers worked so hard in the rain, but it just wasn't what we expected, or what we were told.”

“OK SOD is the bomb. Kevin is the owner and goes out of his way to make you happy and do an excellent job. They put grass in front and back of my new house as well as cleared out tons of brush and trees. I could not have asked for a better job than what they did for me.”

“Perfect St Augustine Raleigh.. Hours were 8am to noon Saturday and April 8, 2017 at 830 am yours truly had excellent Raleigh grass loaded up.. 2 days prior I noticed 1 of the whopping 6 reviews left for this company said Worst Sod Ever..Lol so I did moan and get Raleigh anxiety the night before purchase.. Well maybe its luck of the draw and varying crop yields., who knows. I never leave reviews but I guess its seldom leave reviews now. Very thick cuts with very healthy happy grass. So my experience was Nirvana hence actually texting out a review.. Nice people too..whoopdeedoo”

“Purchased 5 pallets of sod from them a couple weeks ago, and I was horribly disappointed in the quality. I have purchased from them back when they were OK Sod, and I've purchased from Sims, Fort Worth Grass, Tex Turf on Davis... and this was the worst quality grass of them all, and more expensive. My neighbor just bought 6 pallets from a company off craigslist for $60 less per pallet... delivered to Keller from San Antonio...and that St Augustine puts Amazing Creations to shame... Thoroughly disappointed. Get your grass else where this season...”
