Helms Landscape Design, LLC

Helms Landscape Design, LLC operates out of Houston, Texas as a full-service landscaping outfit focused on practical outdoor builds that hold up in the local climate. Chris Helms brings more than twenty years of hands-on work in modern landscape design and synthetic grass installation to every project. The crew handles everything from basic yard upgrades to bigger jobs like custom pools and hardscape additions, always keeping the focus on what actually lasts in Houston's heat and frequent downpours. Homeowners in the area deal with heavy rain that can flood yards and high temperatures that burn out natural grass, so the company sticks to solutions that cut down on ongoing maintenance without cutting corners on the build itself.

They install synthetic grass for lawns, sports fields, and putting greens, put in drainage systems to move water away from foundations, and build hardscapes including pavers, pergolas, and concrete work. Landscape installation covers grading, planting, and turf work while 3D designs help owners see the finished layout before any digging starts. The team also handles shade structures, permeable pavers for better water flow, and lighting setups that make outdoor spaces usable after dark. In Houston, where summer storms hit hard and summers stretch long, these services solve real problems like standing water in low spots and the need for yards that stay green with less watering and mowing.

Customers keep coming back because the work stays on schedule, holds up through the weather, and comes in at a price that makes sense for the size of the job. Communication stays straightforward with updates on what is getting done each day, and the quality shows in how the drainage and turf installations perform after the first big rain. Speed matters when a yard needs fixing before the next season, and the crew delivers without dragging things out. DIRT Score 4.57 from 126 reviews on Finds.
