Maldonado Nursery & Landscaping, Inc.

Maldonado Nursery & Landscaping, Inc. is a family-grown business based in Houston, Texas, that has provided landscaping and nursery services to communities across the state for over 39 years. They handle work for homes as well as commercial properties, focusing on practical designs and plant selections suited to local needs. The outfit grew from roots in the nursery side and expanded into full landscaping projects, serving areas including Houston where the heat and occasional storms test any outdoor installation. Property owners here deal with soil that can shift and plants that must survive high humidity without constant fuss. They stick to reliable methods that keep costs down while delivering results that last through the seasons.

The team takes on full service landscaping jobs that include laying out new designs, building out the actual construction of beds and features, and then keeping everything maintained over time. In Houston this means dealing with heavy rains that can wash away soil or create standing water problems, so they often set up proper drainage and choose plants that handle both wet spells and the intense summer sun. Crews show up to mow, trim, and refresh mulch on regular schedules for commercial lots and neighborhood associations. They also run the nursery side to supply healthy stock directly rather than relying on outside sources that might not match the conditions right here. Homeowners face constant pressure from weeds, heat stress on turf, and the need for irrigation systems that do not waste water during dry stretches.

A score of 3.43 shows steady results on jobs where speed matters during peak growing months and quality holds up against Houston weather without constant callbacks. Customers note fair pricing on maintenance rounds and clear updates on larger installs like drainage fixes or bed rebuilds, though some point out room to tighten response times on smaller residential calls. The work lines up with what property managers expect in this climate where poor plant choice leads to quick failure. DIRT Score 3.43 from 32 reviews on Finds.
