Texas Turf Tenders - Houston

Texas Turf Tenders handles landscaping work from their base in Huffman, Texas, serving the wider Houston area as a veteran owned outfit. They have kept at it for almost forty years through the local mix of heavy rains, clay soil, and long hot stretches that beat down yards. Homeowners out here face constant battles with fast growing grass, drainage issues after storms, and the need for setups that stand up to humidity without constant fixes. The crew applies steady habits from their background to tackle properties in both suburban lots and spots with more open land around Huffman.

They handle full lawn care including sod installation, tree and shrub trimming, and drainage corrections that prevent water from pooling near foundations during the wet season. Crews also build out patios, pergolas, and hardscaping features using stone and timber that match the surrounding terrain. Work starts with a site check to map out existing problems like poor grading or weak spots from past flooding, then moves to equipment suited for Texas dirt that can get packed hard or turn to mud. Jobs wrap with cleanup that leaves the area ready for daily use rather than leaving piles of debris behind for the homeowner to deal with later.

Customers note the crews arrive ready to move and finish on the dates set without dragging things out, deliver fixes that hold through summer heat and fall rains, keep costs in line with the scope laid out upfront, and send updates when changes come up on site. That record of steady results in a tough climate adds up. DIRT Score 4.69 from 113 reviews on Finds.
