Fort Bend Backyard operates out of Katy, Texas as a landscaping outfit focused on residential properties in the area. They handle outdoor work for homeowners dealing with the local environment, where flat land and proximity to Houston bring specific challenges like heavy seasonal rains and intense summer heat. The crew sticks to standard landscaping tasks without any fancy extras, relying on basic equipment and direct methods that fit the needs of suburban yards. With thirty two reviews logged so far, they represent one of the local options for keeping properties in shape amid the region's weather patterns.

Landscaping crews in Katy typically manage lawns that must stand up to clay heavy soil and sudden downpours that can wash away topsoil or create standing water. Workers install or repair sprinkler lines to keep grass alive through dry stretches, trim trees and shrubs that grow fast in the humidity, and clear out weeds that spread quickly after storms. Homeowners often call for help with drainage fixes around foundations to prevent flooding issues common near the coast, or with replanting beds using varieties that tolerate both heat and occasional freezes. Fort Bend Backyard shows up for these routine jobs, moving through properties methodically to cut grass, edge beds, and haul away debris without unnecessary delays from the traffic on local roads.

The score of 3.67 reflects steady but uneven results across jobs, where customers note reliable handling of basic lawn maintenance and fair pricing on smaller projects yet point to occasional lags in response times during peak season. Quality holds up on visible work like mowing and trimming but varies when more involved drainage or plant setups come into play. Communication comes across as straightforward in most cases though some reviews mention follow ups that could improve. DIRT Score 3.67 from 32 reviews on Finds.
