SoCo Landscaping/Outdoor Living

SoCo Landscaping/Outdoor Living operates as a landscaping business in Kyle, Texas, with Ty running the work. The company handles custom patios, masonry details, flower beds, fencing, pergolas, turf, walkways, outdoor kitchens, fire pits, hand railings, and drainage fixes. Ty and crew manage both new installations and upgrades to existing yards, covering front and back spaces along with sprinkler adjustments and electrical work tied to outdoor projects.

Customers describe jobs that include drainage fixes in shady muddy yards turned into limestone mulch paths, fire pit builds completed in a single day, stone patio additions with steel railing swaps, and full front yard revamps that added rock and flagstone pathways. Other projects covered fixing misaligned pavers and sprinklers from prior contractors, creating putting greens with rain management plans, building drive side walkways and trash bin pads, and overhauling neglected lots into clean landscaped areas. Ty and Ismael led crews on these tasks, often addressing irrigation and electrical needs during the same visits.

Reviewers note quick responses to calls, clear schedule updates, and fair pricing across jobs. Crews finish early while keeping sites clean with no damage to existing irrigation or gutters, and they adjust around home schedules like baby nap times. Work covers the Austin area including Circle C, with projects wrapped in one to two days when possible and follow up touch ups handled as needed.

The business holds a 5 star Google rating across nineteen reviews. Common points include Ty’s design input, crew speed and respect for property, and consistent on time delivery at quoted costs.

“Our backyard was in need of drainage solutions and a serious design upgrade. Ty had great ideas for helping us manage flooding, and turning our very shady and muddy back yard into a beautiful path with limestone mulch beds. Ty was very patient with us as we looked at multiple bids, helped to create a budget that worked for us, and was very cordial, professional and punctual throughout the entire the process. Once the project got started he and his crew were courteous, fast, efficient and treated our home with respect- no trash left behind or damage done to irrigation, lighting or gutters (unlike some other contractors we’ve used!). Ty also agreed to do a small touch up job after the project ended and we had paid in full, which we really appreciated. Overall we can’t recommend him enough and will definitely use his business again for future landscaping needs!”

“Ty and his crew did an excellent job!! I explained my idea without having a clear design for it and they just filled up the gaps. Ty was courteous, honorable and easy to work with, always abiding by his word. The crew was fast in completing the project and left all areas super clean after they were done 🙂. Highly recommend this company for your landscape projects!”

Great attention to detail, quick to acknowledge and address issues and clear communication on schedule and estimates. You cannot ask for more from any contractor. If you are considering a landscaping project, I'd highly recommend you give SoCo a call.”

“Ty and team were easy to work with. Great and timely communication. My goal was to eliminate high mud paths on the sides of our house. We’re very happy with the practical end result.”

“Ty and the team did a great job on our project that included putting in a new stone patio, removing a stone railing on our steps and replacing it with steel railings and updating some of our landscaping. Project was completed on time and on budget. Ty and the team were attentive and addressed all questions promptly. Highly recommend them for your project.”

“We had a great experience working with SoCo Landscaping. Ty, the owner, was extremely polite, respectful, and attentive throughout the entire process. He promptly responded to all of our questions and made sure we felt confident in each step of the project. His crew was equally impressive, professional, and hardworking. The project was completed in just a day and a half and completely transformed the area. We couldn’t be happier with the results. We will definitely be using SoCo Landscaping again for future projects!”

“They were quick and did the job exactly as promised. Very well priced too!”

“Ty was easy to work with, did an excellent job, and stood behind the work. He made sure everything was done right and that we were happy with the final result. Highly recommend and will use again.”

“SoCo Landscaping was very easy to work with. I contacted Ty on Wednesday and by the next Tuesday I had a complete walkway on both sides of my driveway and a pad for our trash bins. I highly recommend checking them out if you need any outside work done!”

“I brought in SoCo landscaping to renovate my yard and build a new patio. They did a fantastic job. Working with Ty was so easy, and the team was very accommodating with all my needs. I had a specialty tile shipped in from out-of-state. Not only was Ty able to work around the delivery date, but he also made a conscious effort to learn the manufacturer installation recommendations prior to beginning the project. Additionally, we have a baby, and tile work can get quite loud, but the team worked with us to minimize nap interruptions. They did a very nice clean up at the end of the job, and I’m already getting asked by guests if I can give them SoCo’s number! Highly recommended!”

“Highly recommend SoCo Landscaping!! They did a small job requiring heavy lifting, jackhammering and stone removal! On time, site clean up was perfection, fair pricing! Super awesome local small business! Call them for all of your landscaping needs!”

“We just had a complete overhaul of our yard in circle c with this team and wow!! We are beyond pleased and excited to live in our new outdoor oasis! What a difference he conceptualized with my husband to deal with our particular situation - bad soils, crazy drainage issues, heat (we all have that one), narrow driveway, irrigation and electrical needs, overgrown trees, you name it. We now have a gorgeous new front lawn, rock/flagstone pathways along our driveway, and one to the backyard, a huge three hole putting and chipping green in the back, a comprehensive (and functional!) plan to deal with massive rain events, or just the little ones, a hidden trash and recycling bin area, raised vegetable garden, a big new Japanese maple tree, shrubbery, and a hUge flagstone patio! Y’all, when I say it was a LOT of work, I mean actual metric tons. And Ty was present and capable and competent to handle it all. The ordering of materials that showed up right on time, the direction of crews- sometimes many trades at once, the attention and care he shows is evident in the outcome. We are stoked it’s done in such a short time and we would absolutely choose Ty again!”

“We had to sell my brother’s house and we live in another state. We met with Ty, he gave us a very fair price for what he did. He made all the suggestions and decisions of the full property landscaping (front and back of large, overgrown neglected lot). We had to leave it all in his hands and he way over met all our expectations. I was blown away, his work is outstanding. He is talented, unusually capable, has integrity, is honest, he worked very fast, and a big plus, he is extremely respectful and polite. You would be hard pressed in Texas to find a better landscaper.”
