The Green Dude Organic Lawn Care LLC

The Green Dude Organic Lawn Care LLC runs landscaping services from Kyle, Texas. AJ oversees the work and covers organic fertilization, mowing, and full yard care that started in 2004. The crew also handles sprinkler system checks and repairs, tree and shrub trimming, garden bed planting, fence and gate fixes, xeriscape setups, retaining wall rebuilds, and holiday light installs.

Customers bring them in for routine mowing and cleanup jobs that sometimes get delayed by weather or scheduling slips. AJ and the crew deliver quick estimates, handle multiple small projects in one visit, create xeriscape zones that fit drought rules, rebuild old retaining walls, install complete sprinkler systems, and fix broken gate latches without extra charges. Most jobs end with debris hauled away and sites left tidy, though a couple of reviews note missed grass patches, uneven cuts, or leaves blown into neighboring yards on rushed days.

They send reminders ahead of visits, arrive when promised in most cases, and stay reachable by email, text, or phone. Same-day estimates happen when the schedule allows, and they fit short-notice work into busy periods. Payments move online or by phone with options beyond cash or check, and some customers leave cards on file for automatic mowing and fertilization runs. Prices hold steady with changes only when conditions require them.

The operation shows a 4.8 rating from 28 Google reviews. Reviewers keep coming back for steady communication, on-time arrivals, detailed attention to pet safety and extra fixes, clean job sites, and reliable results on lawns that stay even and healthy over multiple seasons.

“AJ and the crew are amazing. They always let send me reminders about when they're coming out and they make sure my pups dont escape the backyard. In addition to keeping my law looking nice and manicured, they gone the extra mile to help tend to my sprinkler system as well. I HIGHLY recommend you give these guys a call. You won't regret it!”

“WOW! AJ/Green Dude were a dream to work with! professional, quick estimate, great design ideas for my needs... then the team came on time as scheduled, worked quickly and got it all done, i had about 5 mini projects all rolled into one, and they did everything! they also left a clean worksite when they left at night, and hauled away debris. high recommend!”

“AJ Liles has been our lawn care professional for several years and always does an excellent job! Great assistance with anything from mowing to sprinkler maintenance to tree and shrub care! Due to the current drought and water restrictions, we asked him to create a xeriscape area on our front lawn and WOW! Outstanding end product! His design fits our home beautifully and we are so pleased! *****”

“"Huge shoutout to Green Dude Organic Lawn Care Service! They came out to tackle a nasty, dilapidated retaining wall in my yard and absolutely crushed it. They showed up exactly when they said they would, got the job done on time, and the final result looks incredible. It’s so refreshing to work with a team that does such excellent work. Five stars!”

“I wish I could give these guys great reviews, like other people here, but I really can't. I scheduled a mow and yard cleaning on a Friday. After being a no show I get an email saying they didn't make it out, which happens. But instead of coming out the next day, they come out three days later. When I get home later that day I see some work has been done. Large patches of grass were missed all over, what was cut is very uneaven, there is trash laying around in my yardbthay was hit by a lawnmower but just left there, leaves and branches are still everywhere, and when I checked my yard cameras I see leaves we're just blown off into my neighbors yards, for which I am responsible for and have to make appologies for and clean up. So when I contacted The Green Dude about a $100 invoice for this mess, this was the response: "You are right it was not our best work and I apologize if the leaves got blown on the neighbor’s lawn. Please take a $20 discount on this invoice." No offer to come out and fix it, the mess is still there and I am still being charged $80, plus need to go fix it myself, along with my neighbor's yards, or spend even more money to have someone come do it. I am very so”

“AJ and his crew are the ABSOLUTE BEST! I have used them for years and they never disappoint!”

“I have been a customer since September of 2018. I have not once even considered looking for another company. They are communicative, efficient, thorough, and incredibly detailed oriented. The price has always been fair and changes only as needed. AJ has also repaired my fence and gate for me a few times. I have never been unhappy with the quality of work or quality of person sent to my house. You could not find a better crew to work with.”

“I called AJ because I needed help with planting garden beds in my yard. I could tell they were very busy, but they took the time to walk me through my options and what they could do for me. He even scheduled a same day estimate and was willing to work me into his schedule short notice. AJ delivered great care and customer service. I will be calling them again the next time I need help with my yard.”

“Great company for all your lawn needs. Very knowledgeable and reliable!!!!”

They even make sure my dogs are safe if i happen to leave them out when they come here. I highly recommend this team for your services. Mr. AJ, I thank you very much for your for all you do, looking forward to a long business relationship. Keep up the great work. bottom line they just been great. Cheers....”

“I just wanted to stop by and share with everyone how wonderful it is to find a landscaping service that is able to accept payments other than cash or check. This is especially helpful as a real estate agent when the seller of a property lives out of the area. The Green Dude Organic Lawn Care has been excellent in communicating with me and the seller of a home I have listed. The property was serviced as we agreed, an invoice was received via email and there were multiple options for the method of payment. I was very happy with the work that was done and will continue to refer people to AJ again and again in the future; especially other real estate agents!”

“It is a pleasure to work with AJ and his team. They do good, consistent work, and always keep to their schedules as best as the weather allows. AJ is great at communicating over email, text, and phone depending on what's most convenient for me, and handles online or over the phone payments smoothly. I chose to keep my card on file with him, which has let me put lawn care on "autopilot". I trust AJ to mow when the lawn needs to be mowed, and fertilize or provide other needed services when it's time. This has been a big relief for me, and helps me focus on other parts of my life.”

“AJ and his crew did an awesome job!!! I hired then to tend to my mother’s property. Good communication via email and easy billing. Place was kept tidy and perfect. Appreciate the good work.”

“Besides being an excellent lawn “mentor” and advisor, the Green Dude is just downright friendly and helpful! This crew installed an entire sprinkler system for me recently and the level of attention to detail was impressive. Communication during construction was timely and considerate and the job site (my backyard) was organized and clean at the end of each stage. Anecdotally, my back gate had a broken latch before the crew arrived. This wasn’t their responsibility or even something that I thought would be on their radar, but I came home at the end of the to find my back gate repaired and in full working order. No surcharge for it on my invoice, no mention of the repair, just a repair that they had the tools and expertise for, so “why not”? This random act of kindness mentality is a fine example of how this team goes the extra mile. 10/10: I do recommend.”

“I highly recommend the Green Dude for your landscaping needs. I have used them twice this year for some landscaping work and both times they did a great job.”

“EXCELLENT!!! Would recommend this crew to anyone that needs any type of lawn service! Could not be more pleased with their services... Friendly, professional and most important - they do what they say they will do and always follow through.”

“Exceptional work knowledge and reliability!!! Highly recommend The Green Dude for ALL your yard needs!!! So happy to have their service!!! Thank you Green Dude Crew and AJ!”

“They started off doing a good job. Now not so much. They are just blowing piles of cut grass into corners and the neighbors yards. The weedeating and edging seem rushed. The quality has really fallen off. I will be looking for a new service.”

“Great service, quick to respond to my inquiry, and able to schedule the work quickly and my yard looks great.”

“The Green Dude Lawn care services are the best! Reasonable prices and our lawn has never looked better!”
