“The prices were decent. They were definitely lower than a Home Depot or Lowe’s. I found them more in line with Callaway’s a few bucks cheaper on some things couple of bucks more expensive on others. The selection was somewhat limited, but they had everything I wanted. I’ve included a photo of all the plants that I bought now I just need to get them in the ground.😊”

“Being new to town, we shopped a number of nurseries before we found Hartwell’s. The staff at Hartwell’s is knowledgeable and enthusiastic about their jobs. We checked prices at the big box stores and found the prices at Hartwell’s to be as good or better. Customer service was terrific. After a couple of visits and design discussions, we called ahead with our final order. They had it all ready and waiting for us. The guys just planted the trees and did a great job FAST. They even spent time advising us about pruning and care for trees already in our yard.”

“In May of 2023, we retained Hartwell's to design and install landscaping at our new home. We chose them not only because of a good design but because of the promise of soil amendment and planting the shrubs correctly. We have now replaced almost every shrub because they simply dug holes and dropped in the plants. They didn't break up the soil and in the case of one Nellie R Stephens holly (as noted on the design), they didn't even take off the burlap around the root ball. We discovered this last month when our landscaper dug around it because it kept getting blown over. The tree had no root system because of the burlap. That shrub is now dying too. Do NOT use this firm for installation. Promises were made but not kept.”
