“I recently had a full yard irrigation system from Hunter installed around my home. I was surprised how quickly they could get it done (only) half a day and it was done in a professional manner then they cleaned up . When the supervisor came to show me how to operate the system he took time to talk me through the process of setting up the controller and stayed until I was comfortable with it. “I would look elsewhere. I had these guys out to repair a few heads and drip pipes. They charge by the hour so they spend a good amount of time doing their job. They installed and tested and after a few cycles, one of the heads was still broken so I called them back and they replaced that head which perhaps was missed the first time. No big deal. Then we had a month of severe weather in May June and I didn’t put the sprinkler on. When I did one after the other the connectors for the drips kept coming off. I called them up and they would only warranty their service for 30 days. I had another guy come around and we literally replace one connector and the other would pop out. I would look elsewhere because they don’t stand behind their work. I told them the last technician didn’t do a good job which they said we now have a different person who will come out. So maybe they realized poor workmanship but won’t warranty their work. Disappointed because I figured I would get quality service than your local landscaper who can also get the job done. “Finding a contractor that will contact you back when you call or send an email is a challenge these days. Collin County Sprinkler were the exception as they timely confirmed they do work in my area and would be available to come out to get a quote. Preston listened to what I wanted, offered suggestions and presented the estimate right then and there. He was transparent about payment options that was the first time I had someone explain everything. Their bid was competitive with others. Scheduling was tough due to the rain but the job was completed within the discussed parameters and glad I don't have to hand water my lawn this summer! “Collin County did work to adjust some bed sprinklers and add additional heads for coverage in some new planters. The work that was done was sloppy at best. I have had to adjust and add additional sprinklers due to them not checking their work. Further, because they didnt check their work, they left a valve open which caused a slow leak which as a result, likely killed our decades old Red Oak tree. Their communication was not good, work was clearly sloppy. There are a lot of companies out there, I would look for another option.”

“I’ve had these guys for 9 years now and they gave me the best pricing at the time of install and have always showed up when service is needed. If the problem wasn’t fixed or missed the first time they always have come back to make it right and have even sent there supervisor out to check on some issues. Pipes break, equipment sometimes fails as with any electronics now days but the important part for me is someone picking up the phone and doing whatever it takes to solve the issues at that time. These guys have always showed up when needed and a special thanks to there field supervisor who has always gone above and beyond to help with our system.”

I sought a quote and within 3 hours Preston contacted me. He quickly set up an appointment for the next day, showed up on time and walk me through all the phases of what the new sprinkler system installation would entail. At the conclusion he provided an estimate that was within my budget and more than fair when compared against the other estimates I received. The team was here within a reasonable period and finished all outside work in one afternoon. Unfortunately I was out of town so they were unable to install the electronics that day, but came back immediately when I returned and could let them in the garage. Additional adjustments were made by the team, and then Preston came out the following day to do the final walk through, perform a few adjustments and then we settled.
