Comal Irrigation

Comal Irrigation works out of New Braunfels, Texas on irrigation and sprinkler repairs that keep local yards green and landscapes in good shape. Amanda and Scott Urbantke own the operation, which started in 2021. Scott studied horticultural sciences at Texas A&M and worked seven years on golf courses before this. He carries the Texas irrigator license and backflow prevention certification. The focus stays on sorting out sprinkler systems that homeowners rely on for their landscaping needs in the area, where dry spells and sudden rains put extra strain on the equipment. They hold the required state license from the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality and keep insurance records ready for any job.

They fix broken sprinkler heads, valves that fail to open or close, and leaks that waste water. Michael has reached homes fast after calls, fixing issues in under an hour sometimes. Jobs include swapping controllers for Rain Bird models with phone apps so owners adjust schedules remotely. During heat waves when old setups left yards dry, they stepped in for quick repairs. They add booster pumps, move lines around new patios or sheds, and run audits to cut water use. Customers note the systems work better after these visits without big bills, and the crew reroutes pipes so new builds do not block coverage on the rest of the yard.

Homeowners keep pointing to fast response times when leaks show up, clear talks about what needs fixing, and charges that stay in line with the work done. Quality shows up in updated controllers that hold settings and stop uneven watering, while speed matters most during peak summer calls. Price feedback stays steady on fair rates without extras added on. DIRT Score 4.32 from 35 reviews on Finds.

“If I could give this man 10 Stars, I would. He showed up on time, VERY professional and the fact that he changed out my controller for a new up to date Rain Bird with the App so I can control it on my phone and did not charge me an arm and a leg. I will always call him if my system needs repair again.”
