J.R. Scapes & Land Services LLC

J.R. Scapes & Land Services LLC operates as a family owned landscaping business out of Pflugerville, Texas. The company handles lawn maintenance, tree work, stone work, landscaping design and installation, irrigation installs and repairs, material deliveries, hardscaping, and land clearing for residential and commercial properties across the area. Reviewers note that the business steps into projects when prior contractors fall through and manages full outdoor scopes that include both new installs and ongoing care.

Customers report jobs such as completing landscaping, irrigation, and hardscaping at a fire station under tight deadlines, adding flowerbeds with new plants, fixing a leaning fence, adjusting irrigation systems, aerating lawns, installing sod with drainage solutions on sloped lots, performing tree trimming, and xeriscaping entire yards with rock enclosures. Josue appears in multiple accounts leading crews on these tasks, with outcomes described as clean finished sites, functional drainage that protects structures, and plantings that hold up after installation.

The business responds quickly to calls for commercial and residential work, maintains communication through texts and calls during projects, and issues competitive quotes according to reviewers. Service reaches Pflugerville, Manor, Austin, Leander, Round Rock, Georgetown, and Bastrop, with crews completing work on schedules that range from three days for backyard overhauls to multi house investment property installs. Some accounts note tidy daily wrap ups while others mention debris blown onto vehicles or clothes during routine visits, and one reviewer described delays in replies when trying to schedule follow up maintenance.

The listed reviews show a Google rating of 4 alongside repeated comments on professional crews, reliable scheduling, and solid results on both initial installs and maintenance, though a small number flag concerns over tidiness during leaf and dirt removal or reduced responsiveness after the first job.

“J.R. Scapes and Land Services did an excellent job on the Leander Fire Station #2 project. Our original landscaping contractor went out of business, which put us in a difficult position and created a serious time crunch near the end of the project. J.R. Scapes stepped in, responded quickly, and helped us keep the project moving. Their scope included landscaping, irrigation, and hardscaping, and their team was professional, reliable, and easy to work with from start to finish. I highly recommend J.R. Scapes and Land Services for anyone needing dependable commercial landscaping, irrigation, and hardscaping services in Leander, Austin, Round Rock, Georgetown, Pflugerville, Manor, and the surrounding Central Texas area.”

“Josue and his team did a great job on the landscaping at our house! They dded new flowerbeds, planted a bunch of new plants, fixed a leaning fence, installed and adjusted irrigation, and aerated the lawn. They were flexible on the schedule and left the yard clean and tidy. I’d definitely work with them again!”

“J.R. Scapes is a fantastic Landscape Company. They do just about everything outside the home. It's really nice to have one company handle everything on the initial install and be available for maintenance. We've used them on investment properties where we need multiple houses fully landscaped and irrigated and I've used them on my personal house where I'm a perfectionist. They've been fast, affordable, easy to work with, they know their stuff and the end results look great. I don't want to leave my backyard! Highly recommend them. Great company, great people. Thanks guys!”

“J.R. Scapes, thank you. I love my dog, but I wish he wasn't such a passionate digger. Thanks to you, the ground on one entire side of my house has been leveled and is now protected by an enclosure of rocks that will deter any further excavations. Plus, it looks great and came together at a reasonable price. Thank you, J. R. Scapes, and I'm eager to learn of other ways you might be able to help me dog-proof my yard and make it look lovely at the same time.”

“My backyard was in desperate need of some love and JR scapes came in and were extremely professional, punctual and did an amazing job!! The work was complete in 3 days and I could not be happier. Will be using them again for future projects. Highly recommend!”

“Josue helped me design and install a total landscaping system on a new construction home in Bastrop which included quality sod, extensive drainage solution for my extremely sloped property (sloped towards the house, unfortunately), and some aesthetic upgrades with rock and plants. It's beautiful, was competitively priced, and he handled it all. Other contractors needed to subcontract out the irrigation. Overall I'm very happy with the results and I feel very secure now that I have control of the water around the house. EDIT: Became very hard to communicate with when scheduling future work. Felt like a non-priority waiting weeks for replies.”

“Josue and his team trimmed our trees in preparation for winter weather; they were communicative, knowledgeable and skilled, hardworking, tidy, and professional. Our experience with J.R. Landscapes was positive and we won’t hesitate to hire them again.”
