“After nearly a year of consistent, happy service, I was blindsided by a sudden and unexplained termination of my account and the way it was handled left a lot to be desired. For most of our time with Crystal Green, things ran smoothly. They had a reasonable request that we scoop dog poop from the yard before each visit, and they supported that expectation by sending day-before reminders so we could prepare accordingly. That system worked well, and we were diligent about following through on our end. Then the reminders stopped - no explanation, no notice, nothing. Months later, we received word that they would no longer be servicing our property. Again, no explanation was offered. As a customer in Taylor, TX, my first assumption was that distance had become an issue. That theory was quickly put to rest when I began regularly seeing their crews both around town and in our own neighborhood. That leaves me with only one reasonable conclusion: our yard may not have always been fully prepped to their standards. We have children and dogs, and yes, there are usually toys in the yard. But here's the thing: we relied on those reminders to know when to clean up. When they stopped sending them, we lost our cue. Rather than reaching out to address the issue directly, it appears they simply chose to drop us without a word. And then, to add insult to injury, they recently left a solicitation flyer on our front door. This is the same company that dropped us without so much as a courtesy explanation, and they are now actively advertising in our neighborhood and apparently hoping we'll sign back up. The lack of self-awareness is remarkable. A simple phone call or honest conversation would have gone a long way. Loyal customers deserve transparency, not silence. I would caution others to ask upfront how this company handles communication issues, because based on our experience, the answer is: they don't.”
