Leaf Tree Services

Leaf Tree Services runs tree care jobs from Round Rock. Jeff Hempel oversees every project as the ISA certified arborist with fifteen years working in Central Texas. The family owned company has stayed based there since 2015. They handle trimming, removal, planting and other tree maintenance for houses and businesses across Round Rock, Georgetown, Cedar Park and the wider Austin area.

Customers bring them in to cut down storm damaged trees and grind out old stumps so the ground stays level for mowing. Crews trim large live oaks that suffered ice storm harm years back while keeping the natural shape. They also plant new red oaks that fit the yard and clear brush or leaning trees under tight city deadlines to stop fines. One crew removed a split cedar that rested on power lines and chipped branches left from earlier cuts. Another job fixed multiple oaks and took down a big hackberry with full cleanup afterward.

Jeff and Shannon set up the work with fast replies on calls and texts. Quotes stay fair and crews arrive when promised to finish without extra visits. They grind stumps flat, haul away debris and make sure no new sprouts come up. Service reaches the listed towns around Round Rock and they fit in same week jobs when the city pushes a deadline. Follow up visits happen for repeat trimming on the same properties.

Google shows five stars from ninety nine reviews. Reviewers note the careful handling of big trees, solid cleanup and clear talk from the crew. A few mention quick storm response and fair costs that beat other bids. One review raised points about property marks and later replies.

“We used Leaf tree service this week to remove some trees and trim the trees on two different houses. Jeff's team was professional, on time, and did a great job! We will be recommending him to our friends and will definitely use his services again.”

“Jeff the arborist at Leaf Tree and his crew were outstanding. We had a total of 6 trees trimmed. One live oak is very large and had damage from the ice storms several years ago. Jeff guided the trimming from start to finish. I especially appreciate his attention to details and his willingness to work with an overprotective tree lover. The crew was careful and easy to work with. We will definitely call Leaf Tree Service again in the future.”

“Shannon was excellent with communication throughout the process, and Jeff did a fantastic job removing our old Bradford Pear tree stump. The entire experience was smooth and professional, and we wouldn’t hesitate to use them again.”

“Jeff with Leaf Tree Service responded very quickly to our need. We were under a time frame imposed on us by the city. Jeff's crew was able to fit us in and prevented us from being fined. They took the extra steps to ensure the trees would not sprout up & ground the stumps to ensure mowers could keep area maintained. The city inspector wrote an email praising the quality of the job. The care in which jeff's crew took while clearing this brush was amazing & the remaining trees in this area look fantastic. Highly recommend Leaf Tree Service. In fact I am using them each quarter to maintain the other trees on our property. Quality work at a fair price, which is hard to find these days.”

“Jeff was knowledgeable and we quickly got on the same page as to my vision of how I wanted my trees trimmed. Also pointed out helpful information about my trees for the future. The crew who did the trimming and cleanup were kind, quick, thorough and open to make a few more cuts after finishing. Really glad I picked the company!”

“I recently had the pleasure of working with Tree Leaf services, specifically with Jeff, who assisted in planting a beautiful red oak tree in our front yard. I cannot say enough about the exceptional service we received. Jeff was incredibly responsive from the initial inquiry to the completion of the project. He took the time to select a healthy red oak tree that suited our yard perfectly. His expertise and attention to detail during the planting process were evident, resulting in a tree that is thriving. What stood out most was Jeff's genuine care for both the trees he works with and his customers. He went above and beyond to ensure that we were satisfied and provided valuable tips for tree care moving forward. I highly recommend Tree Leaf services, especially Jeff, for anyone looking for top-notch tree services. They are knowledgeable, professional, and truly dedicated to the well-being of trees and their clients.”

“We had multiple trees and shrubs cut and trimmed. They did an awesome job. Everything was cleaned up along with some branches we had cut. Later this year we'll have them back out to trim up a few more trees.”

“These guys are the best. Solid, fare quote, show up when expected and do the work discussed and outlined in the quote. They truly take care of the trees keeping them natural looking and do not hack them to loop like lollipops.”

“Such a pleasant experience from talking with Shannon and getting things set up, to Jeff coming out to do the work. He doesn’t leave the job until it’s done right. Also would like you to know, out of calling at least 6 companies, they were the only ones that said they can do it. Everyone else said they couldn’t do it or the tree probably won’t survive. The tree size was about 8 inches in diameter and 20 feet tall, leaning a couple of feet. Thanks for saving my tree!”

“Responsive, professional, and efficient. From my initial outreach to the final service follow-up, Leaf Tree Services made the entire process easy and seamless. We’re very glad we chose to move forward with them and would gladly recommend them to others.”

“Jeff and his crew do great work! They trimmed up a couple of trees at my place and chipped both the trimmings and a couple of large branches that I had laying around. Price was very reasonable, and the clean-up was better than expected.”

“Some good some bad Richard a sub great, wife Shannon very organized The rest not so good Communications with husband poor many misunderstanding When job finished sent pictures of unfinished trimming no response after week so filed response on social along with at that time two weeks later realizations that damage had been done to property ie impact craters, security lights, possible roof damage, then I got response mostly negative that they would not return to fix, said too late to report damage to property After some back and forth not so good they agreed to return but I already started the repairs and did not want contractor on our property”

“Had a 1/3 of a tree come down during a storm and damage some structures. They came out quickly, gave a fair bid, and removed multiple branches, quickly and safely, once the bid was approved. I would use them again and recommend them to others.”

“We had a great experience working with this team on our recent tree planting project. They were professional, responsive, and easy to coordinate with throughout the entire process. Communication was clear and consistent, and the work was completed efficiently and to a high standard. We appreciate their attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality results.”

“Thanks Shannon, we appreciate your's and Jeff's diligence and professionalism it's very much appreciated. This is our first time using Leaf and Tree Services and certainly not our last.”

“Quick, clean, and easy to work with. Got good recommendations from the on-site when they were working on the job site. Love my oak trees but they can be a bit of a headache so I'm glad to have someone who thinks about the future and not just cutting back whatever, wherever. Thanks guys.”

“I had a tree health consult with Jeff and it was incredibly informative and comprehensive. He told us all about our main oak that we want to keep healthy and suggested what would help keep the tree healthy and safe. He was not at all pushy on selling future service, but answered every question we had and did not rush through anything. This is exactly why I will be using Leaf Tree in the future for professional pruning and upkeep. It is entirely evident that Jeff is not only extremely knowledgeable, but passionate about tree health and wellness. I highly recommendation using Leaf Tree for all your tree needs!”

“Leaf Tree Services did an amazing job on my property including pruning 5 very large oak trees and taking down a 25 year old (and large) Hackberry tree. The whole crew were thorough and extremely professional. Very fair and reasonable charge as well. I highly recommend and will now be a repeat customer in the future.”

“Leaf tree team has given exceptional service through the years. Fair hard working and make it look fantastic!”

“Our cedar tree split during the last winter storm and was laying on power lines. Jeff and his crew came out within 48 hours to give us a quote and complete the work. Very prompt service and excellent work!”
