“VHS did landscaping work on our home when we first moved in which was nine years ago. With the water restrictions I asked VHS landscaping to turn some grass areas into flower beds. Jose and his team did a fantastic job! They arrived on time and cleaned up at the end of the day. I thought there was going to be large equipment to do the job but no, everything was done with hand tools and wheel barrels! There was one exception a mini loader for the mulch but they kept it on the street. It only took them 3 days to complete. I am so happy with the outcome. I highly recommend!!”

“After several years of remodeling, our yard was a complete mess and the irrigation system was not usable. I met with various landscaping groups, none of whom seemed to be able to grasp what I wanted to complement our home. Chris took the time to LISTEN and to understand the style that we were seeking. He assured me that we could create a great look without it being a yard of just rocks. He understood that we also wanted low to no-maintenance and that we wanted some color. VHS was able to get everything accomplished within a two week period for us, including a total clearing of what little grass we had, re-grading, new irrigation system, new design, new sod, new beds, and also dressed up a wonderful side area that we see from our home interior. Our Project Manager, Byron, met with the fellow installing our gutters to work on the best install for our layout. I worked with Becca on the final plans and we did make a few swaps - it was just so easy and they gave me great advice on the best Texas colorful natives to use for each bed. The design process was very thorough, and Chris walked us through multiple options considering pros and cons of each. After finalizing the design, they were very detailed about the cost. “We recently hired VHS Outdoor Living for a major renovation of our home landscaping, and this was our first experience with the company — but it definitely won’t be our last. I normally handle all of my own landscaping projects, but this one exceeded my capabilities. From start to finish, VHS exceeded every expectation we had. My initial contact was with Sean Ferguson, who met with me to discuss the scope of the project. Sean was incredibly knowledgeable, offered excellent ideas, and helped us visualize exactly what we wanted to achieve. He remained actively involved throughout the project, visiting the site multiple times and always responding promptly to texts and emails. VHS assigned a four-man crew to the project, and they were outstanding. The crew was professional, courteous, punctual, and worked hard throughout each day. They took exceptional care to avoid disturbing existing landscaping outside the project area and kept the worksite clean and organized at the end of every day, neatly storing equipment off to the side of the property. What impressed me most was their attention to detail and pride in their work. Whenever questions came up, they consulted with me to ensure everything was done exactly right. Near the end of the project, there were several cleanup items I assumed I would need to handle myself, but the crew took care of everything — including removing tire marks from the driveway left by their small tracked loader. They even swept residual mulch dust from the street and washed down the area in front of our home. It’s rare today to find a company that combines professionalism, communication, craftsmanship, and customer service at this level. VHS Outdoor Living delivered on all of it, and I highly recommend them for any landscaping project.”
