What Customers Say

“I needed a spare key for my apartment, i went on two different occasions to the ace hardware to get some keys made, the first time the key didnt work, so I went back, got a refund and tried again. this time they used a different machine. the key still did not work. so I ended up at Martin locksmith. they measured the original and the ace-hardware-cut one, and determined the key wasnt cut right. they cut me a key and it worked perfectly.”

Giovanni Baldi

“Lost my car door keys and they did a great job at fixing that frustrating issue for me. I was recommended by a co-worker and I’m glad I found them.”

Texas Comet

“My front door is custom-made by Glasscraft in Houston. The installer told me the latch had a defect. To open the door you have to wiggle the handle. Jerking the handle succeeded for years. Until one day, it stopped. Time to fix it. At first, I chose a five-star handyman from ThumbTack. He tried to fix it. This lasted for two weeks. He came back and suggested replacing the entire multi-point lock. Rockwell Security sent a replacement via FedEx for free. Excellent customer service! Watching the handyman toil did not inspire confidence. I decided to hire a specialist locksmith. My wife found a local locksmith with more than four stars: Martin Locksmith. They are family- owned and have 30 years experience. They responded within an hour with a clear cost estimate. Unlike a general handyman, Anthony arrived with a van full of tools. He told me he had to fix many cases like mine. He prefers the simpler deadbolt locks. You can tell Anthony is an experienced locksmith. His motions were smooth and systematic. Contrast this with my handyman who labored by trial-and-error. Anthony noted some parts needed minor adjustments. This is where his extensive tools help. He made sure everything is”

“I needed a car key cut. None of the big box stores do those kinds of keys, and most locksmiths I called wanted a minimum 140 for mobile service. At Martin, they cut my key for me for $5. I'm a lifelong customer. Added a photo of the receipt. Anywhere in DFW, you'll save a small fortune by coming here.”

“I went to get a replacement for my car key and love the costumer service I received. The staff there were kind and helpful. I 100% recommend going here if you need car or house keys.”

Jared Reyes

“Just left this place for battery replacements on both car keys… Ethan helped me out super sweet guy and I was there for literally 5 mins! Reasonable prices as well”

Lianna Kristine

“Great store with great service! Got our keys duplicated very easily! Eric was super helpful. Lots of nice safe options as well!”

“Very friendly and knowledgeable locksmith. Did the job perfect and explained my options. I scheduled the house call so this was all in person and communication with him was seamless. Would definitely use again. I do have to state my other experience - whoever is answering the phone (female voice) was condescending and kept brushing me off the phone to text cuz as she said " we can text all day long " . An example when asking about availability it was mentioned to me the next day was "all free " then when I asked for a 10am maybe what does she think? - the response was "it doesn't work like that ". I only continued with the appointment because it was a neighbor recommendation and the in person again as I mentioned was 100% perfect but the phone communication with the other employee made me feel like I was a bother and stupid when I know I wasn't.”

“Would rate a 0 if I could. Use to be best lock Smith, lost car keys and they do not have a lock Smith that can come put for 2 days. Totally unacceptable. They told me to call their corporate office. They should be callig corporate office. Poor customer service and they did not want the work.”

Bonnie Swan

“After running into a bunch of scammers claiming to be locksmiths on both Google Maps and Facebook Marketplace, I was very pleased to see that Martin Locksmith is a legit business with trained professionals. I took my car there to have a new remote progrommed and keys cuts. Fast and trustworthy. Highly recommend!”

Brian Snodgrass

“My parents have used this business for years for house keys, and car keys. The rude service I received today when I called to get all new keys made was astounding. My parents have dementia and the keys are lost. The woman was short, condescending and obstinate. We could not even get a price on fobs for all three cars because she refused to help us with any of the options. I would spend three times the amount versus giving this business a nickel. We have spent hundreds and hundreds of dollars with them over the years. They are very rude.”

Melanie Wilfong

“Excellent service as always, quick and accurate. Thanks for rekeying my Schlage deadbolt, locking handles and making an extra key. They work perfectly! And thanks for the advice on the Houdini lubricant, I know I'll have multiple uses for it. Also the small well made key rings will come in very handy. I have been a customer of Martin Locksmith for years. They are "Top Notch"!”

“I have been here before to have specialty keys cut for my motorcycle. That trip went well, and I got what I needed. During that trip, I noticed they sold gun safes. I'm now in the market for a gun safe, so I made a second visit. With a wallet full of cash. Ready to purchase. During the second visit, I walked in and passed by the counter and went into the safe section. I walked up and down the rows of safes for 20 min or more, learning what I could on my own and waiting for someone to engage me. There were 3 people behind the counter communicating amongst themselves about everything under the sun. Not one of them said hello, how can I help you, or even a "be with you in a min" kind of thing... 20 min of invisibility was enough. I decided that I didn't fit the profile for them to take me seriously.... So I left. And as I walked towards the door?..... again. No one acknowledged my presence. In fact, I held the door open for an employee that was outside working on his car. He was coming in to fetch a different tool. And this young man also did not engage. Not even a thank you. Everyone has bad days. But everyone inside this shop? All at the same time? Times have changed, but ”

“If you have an ignition cylinder problem with your 2001 Toyota Sequoia call these guys. They will fix it without any BS. Clint was neat, well groomed, very friendly and very helpful. I’m calling them for locksmith needs from now on”

Mike Hernandez

“Had batteries changed in the keypad on the front door to our business. The screw to get to the battery compartment is located in a place where a normal person would not know where to find it. I paid almost $250 to replace the batteries that I supplied and it took the technician less than 10 minutes to replace them. Sad, sad, sad .......”

Barbara McNair

“Called several other locksmiths that couldn't replicate a broken key for a storage unit, could have spent upwards of $200 to drill out. These guys replicated the broken key with their closest matching key, works perfectly. Knew exactly what they were doing.”

Joseph Hamandi

“Had lock replaced and a key made for lockboxes found in a house clean out. Johnathan was excellent. It’s changed hands to Michael’s Locksmith. Highly recommend this place.”

David Berg

“Friendly service and was willing to help a young lady figure out what to buy her very picky husband.”

Alexis Jackson

“I cannot say enough about the helpfulness and professionalism of the employees at Martin Safe. I had bought a safe several years ago and was having problem with it. As it turned out, the battery just needed to be replaced (I didn't even realize that it had a battery). Eric was so much help and took the time to make sure that the measures he was guiding me through while trying to figure out exactly why the safe wouldn't open. I couldn't have asked for a more patient person and sure enough he figured it out and it was a success! Thanks for your help!”

Kathy Cahill

“I've used these guys for almost 40 years and have always received quality service at reasonable prices. They turned around my job for resetting a bunch of deadbolts to all the same key quickly. I came into the shop on a Saturday morning and waited for the work to be done in-house. No hassle, no problems, they just did it quickly and for a great price. After recently having a less-than-favorable experience with a locksmith in Mansfield, it really made me appreciate Martin locksmith. Thanks guys, for being there when I needed you.”
