“DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! Got locked out of my house, called mykey around 2:30 pm, got a call from a locksmith by 2:40, told me he’d be here around 30 minutes. Arrived on time. Told him we could either do a screen door and a top and bottom lock on the front door, or do just a top and bottom lock in the back door. Greg told me the back would be better because we would have to only do two locks. We agreed to do the back door. He informed me that because I had the kwikset smart locks, that they can’t pick it and would need to drill it out and replace the whole set. Told him that was fine, he discussed the cost and that’s when I discovered it was going to be over $220 per lock plus a $180 call out fee, PLUS taxes and fees, so $600+. I told him that was too much and that he can leave. He asked if we could negotiate the cost and he said he could take off the call out fee and it would only be 440. I was annoyed but reluctantly agreed. He then takes about 15 to 20 minute to get the doorknob off, and then moves to the deadbolt. He then proceeds to spend 30 minutes drilling and butchering this deadbolt and then asks if I had a flat head screw driver so he wouldn’t have to go back to his tr”

“After trying to get in contact with someone for over a month after my service, I left a 2 star review. Within a few hours, I got a call. The issue I wanted to discuss was that I was told it would be $60-80 if the lock could be picked. Unfortunately, I have a 2023 Toyota Camry, so it could not. To my shock, I was charged $250 after they unlocked it. Also, it should be noted that I was told I had to delete my review to receive a $120 refund (was initially only offered $50).”

“For the record, I'm pretty sure they are just a parent company that sources private locksmiths to go out and service people. For me, it was a whooping $300 for them to get my 2010 Ford Fusion open. When I talked to the guy, he said that he would be there in 20 minutes. I said "don't bother, I'll call someone else" he insisted he could get there sooner but failed to do so, meaning he openly, intentionally lied to me. When he got there, he told me it would be $300 because I had a "complicated lock". My car is the most basic, old school turn key lock. Doesn't even have a remote lock option so I guess all locks not made in 1973 are complicated? Not seeing any other choice, I agreed. It didn't even occur to me to ask how much the service would be ahead of time because I couldn't fathom them charging me an entire car payment to just get my door open. Which is why I want to put the price here to warn people of what they are signing up for before they call”
