“They kept my car from me for almost a month and I paid what I needed to 3 weeks ago. My car is now filthy and they got in it and unfastened my son's car seat. Don't bother calling because they won't answer. Dude had such an attitude when we tried to get my car the first time all because we were a lousy 2 minutes late. This place is a nightmare.”

“If you ever have the misfortune of having your car towed, I hope you meet Gabby the young lady that helped me. She was very considerate and maintained a great attitude on a busy Friday. I noticed she was the only person on the lot helping all the customers one by one. She provided great customer service and was very compassionate.”

“THE WORST COMPANY IN THE WORLD!! I have been trying to retrieve my belongings for 2 weeks now and still have been unsuccessful. There is no person to call and talk to, and I can't get any information from whoever is behind the chat. This is ridiculous. I just want my things about to file a complaint, but from the other reviews it probably won't do any good. There has got to be a law against this kind of service.”

“This company is the absolute worst company I've ever dealt with in my life. I'd gladly deal with the government than to deal with this company again. You can't actually talk to a person everything is done online through text. They hold your vehicle for days saying there's no appointments available then charge you storage fees for all the days that they won't allow you to get it. They left me stranded over an hour away from my house at a job site. Just a shady repo company. I won't support any other company that uses this company because I don't ever want the possibility of having to deal with this company again. The worst experience ever and having your vehicle repo is already not a good experience and this company made it so much more worse than it needed to be. Shame on them for taking advantage of people who are already in a bad spot. Hope they lose there ability to do business completely. I'll definitely be talking to a lawyer and seeing what my options are.”

“I am extremely dissatisfied with my experience with HNS Recovery. My original Ford key was reprogrammed and replaced with a different key that does not even have the original skeleton key attached. When I contacted the Balch Springs location, I was told that the lien holder authorized the change. However, when I contacted the lien holder directly, they informed me that they did not authorize this action. As the owner of the vehicle, I expect my property to be returned in the same condition it was received. Reprogramming my original key without proper authorization and returning a different key is unacceptable. I have attempted to resolve this matter directly, but have not received a satisfactory solution.”

“I mean, I wasn't happy about my car getting repossessed lol. I also wasn't a fan of not being able to get ahold of anyone, and definitely not a fan of the name lol. HOWEVER, the chat DOES reach someone, and when I went to pick my belongings up, my id was in the car, and he allowed me to verify my id when he brought my bag out. They put it in a bag, yes, but none of my stuff was ruined, nothing was missing, and the guy had a big, beautiful smile, he spoke respectfully and kindly to me, he even went beyond that, giving inspiration. He was professional, he was kind, he treated me like a lady and a human, and I actually left there in a good mood. He was busy, but he went in order and timely.”

“Gabby really went out of her way to help me and my mom. She is the sweetest person I mean she even gave me and my mom water to wait because my finance company messed up and she really went out of her way to help us. She deserves 100 stars.”

“Of course no one wants to be in a situation where your car gets repoed however the chat experience with Melissa was very informative and she was extremely nice and patient with me as I work through logistics of trying to get my car back. So then I'm not proud that the situation happened to me I am grateful that Melissa was patient enough with me to walk me through the process.”

“lol I asked id everything was in my car. While I my music equipment was not touched. (BIG THANKS) lol. One of them big back workers stole food out my car and purse. I had little bags of chips in my middle console and one bag in my purse along with a pop tart. I got my car within less than 24 hours and ALL MY SNACKS ARE GONE. I laugh now, but I went straight to work after I got my car back and was looking forward to my little snacks. As humans do better. People are already in a bind when they have to get their cars back from a tow lot. Why make it worse? I hope whoever eats my food don’t get a tummy ache. Heheheheh.”

“If I could get one star I would. Struggling single mother trying to make ends meet. Managed to get my truck repossessed but in the same exact day I paid my car and was able to get it back. They make it so damn difficult to get your vehicle back. Upon getting my vehicle back within 24 hours my truck was dug through completely. Every compartment was opened. And they stole $300 that was in my vehicle for my mortgage payment. These people are beyond heartless and thieves. I will also be calling my car finance company so they can take the proper steps.”

“Location in Balch Springs stole all the tools in the vehicle a bag full of assorted tools and a screw gun , Not to mention they went through all the stuff and took what they wanted. Brand new laundry detergent, Marshalls and Tjmaxx new clothes with tags, a Stanley Tumbler and $50 worth of bags of candy! They opened the car as soon as it got to the yard because I got an alert that the doors were being tampered with. Didn't even wait the 30 days they have to give you by law to pick up personal property.”

“These people are professional scammers, and they’re rude. Conveniently closed sat/ Sunday closes at 4 on weekdays and you have to pay with a money order. Hope these people get shut down, they make it near impossible to get your car back and they’re rude. You have to make an appointment to get your car back which could be days of your car sitting there even after you have paid for everything. Also don’t bother calling their phone number it’s pointless, if I could rate 0 stars I would.”

“This company is just doing their job and it's not their fault when situations arise that results is your vehicle being towed. My son ran into an issue with scheduling and the associate at one of their locations stepped right in to help. HNS continue being courteous and professional.”

“I'm sending this from the other angle, as a potential client looking to hire them for their services. Having an AI system in a loop blocking you from speaking to a human being, is the worst possible system imaginable. When dealing with sensitive data and info and money and collateral, there need to be ways to speak to humans. And if a customer pays me up to date I want an ability for them to receive their vehicle. I am stunned by how poor this customer service is and would rather let a customer drive for free than use a company like this.”

“Hi there a child was almost run over by one of your recovery drivers. We asked him to please slow down he literally cussed us out and said call the police. All we did was ask him to slow down He began to video us and take photos and he said he was going to come back and tow my vehicle. What he didn’t know we are the property owners and he towed one of our tenants vehicles. Since we are privately owned we will be submitting legal documentation for you guys no longer to be able to come on our privately owned property It’s sad as the little girl was around six years old. I guess cause they were black kids it was ok idk”
