D and N Rekey Locksmith LLC

D and N Rekey Locksmith LLC operates as a family-owned locksmith service out of Cypress, Texas, with Norman running the work on residential and commercial calls. They focus on emergency lockouts along with rekeying, repairing, replacing, and installing locks and deadbolts for houses and businesses. The company covers the greater Houston region that includes Cypress, Katy, The Woodlands, Spring, Hockley, and nearby towns such as Conroe and Sugarland. Norman handles most jobs in person after customers reach the business by phone.

Homeowners and business owners bring them cases such as rekeying locks on newly purchased houses, adding deadbolts, unlocking homes after lost keys, duplicating car keys and key fobs, and sorting out ignition and anti-theft problems on older vehicles that other shops turned away. Norman has also replaced faulty front and garage door locks, fixed stuck mechanisms without extra damage, and tightened loose door handles during visits. Reviewers note that he stayed late on tough ignition repairs, returned the next day to finish, and kept original quotes even when jobs ran longer than expected.

Norman answers calls quickly and often reaches sites within an hour or less, including same-day slots that fit around customer schedules. He explains options clearly, stays on time, and charges what reviewers call fair and reasonable rates without pushing unneeded work. Service runs across the listed Houston-area towns with prompt communication and honest advice on what actually needs fixing. Many jobs wrap up in under two hours once he arrives.

“D and N Rekey Locksmith was excellent and reasonably priced! I reached out to several locksmith companies in the area, and Norman was quick to return my call and was able to accommodate my schedule and followed up to confirm our scheduled service. I especially appreciated knowing that they are a family-owned business and local to Cypress. Norman, the owner, came out personally to rekey our locks and install a new deadbolt. He arrived right on time, was professional, courteous, and completed the work quickly and efficiently. It’s always nice to support a local family-owned business, especially when you receive such great service. I highly recommend D and N Rekey Locksmith!”

“Great service! Norman was extremely kind, did an excellent job with my lock rekeying and at a great price! Thank you!”

“Norman did a great job at our house! He is reliable, efficient and organized! Highly recommend!”

“I highly recommend D and N . I recently had a problem with the ignition / anti theft system in my mini van . Because the van was 10 yes old the dealership didn't want to help me. 2 other mechanics/technicians tried to no avail. Norman with D and N came out and never gave up, he even took the problem home to work on. He stayed late, then came back early and without his help and hard work it's very probable that I would have lost my job. Without transportation it is almost impossible to get anywhere from my house in Hockley. I was truly amazed that someone was willing to go above and beyond to make sure I would be able to make it to my job and school. I personally have not seen or heard of outstanding customer service such as this in many decades. I highly recommend this company . Thanks again Norman and D and N.”

“Super prompt, great work and really nice. HIGHLY recommend :)”

“I had a great experience from beginning to end. Norman was very responsive and we were able to schedule an appointment quickly. He was right on time, his pricing is very fair in my opinion and he is very honest. Even though the job took a bit longer than planned, he kept to his original quote. Great service, very friendly, honest and knowledgeable - excellent experience and will definitely call again when key/lock service is needed. Thank you”

“I don’t usually leave reviews for companies, but I wanted to take the time to say that Norman was great and trustworthy! He went above and beyond to avoid us damaging anything during a lockout -someone who wouldn’t care would have just drilled straight through to collect payment and leave right away. Communicative, friendly, great experience 5 stars all around!”

“Norman was great at communicating with me in a very timely manner. He was willing to work around my schedule. He was quick, efficient, and by far the most reasonably priced. He cares about his customers more than making a profit. He is a very honest and trustworthy person. I would Absolutely use him again and would recommend him to everyone!”

“I highly recommend this business! I was impressed with Norman’s professionalism and honesty. He could have sold me what I thought I needed but instead he made sure I didn’t spend money unnecessarily. He is a joy to work with. Great experience overall!”

“Highly recommend this locksmith vendor! We’ve used D&N Rekey Locksmith services a few times now, and they have been a joy to work with. We were in a pinch today, and Norman was on site to help 20 minutes after I called to schedule, and had everything taken care of in less than an hour and a half. Not only was the service quick, it was friendly as well, which can be hard to come by these days. We appreciate your help so much, and look forward to using D&N Rekey Locksmith services in the future!”

“Norman was absolutely the best! I can not thank him enough for fixing my front & garage door locks. Not only did he come and take a look at them on a Thursday and recommended they would probably mess up again, helped me shop for correct replacements, come back on Saturday afternoon to do the work, cleaned up his entire area (which he did not have to do) but only charged me for one trip. I so recommend him for all your lock needs. He definitely goes above and beyond for his clients!”

“Norman is absolutely fantastic to work with. Prompt communication. Clear pricing. Gets the job done efficiently and definitely knows what he's doing. He took the time to explain everything to me and overcame the obstacles that my locks presented. Thank you!”

“Norman provided fast and friendly service at a fair price. He even tightened the handles on all of my doors for no extra charge. It's nice to find a local small business that offers excellent service.”

“Norman arrived on time (beat my to my own house!) and worked quickly. He assessed my needs and made solid recommendations on what we should change. Glad he noticed an extra keyed lock that I missed when we walked through. His prices are fair and I've added him to my contacts to call the next time I need a locksmith for home or vehicle.”

“Norman was awesome and his services are very reasonably priced! We called the morning of needing new locks to a new house, he was able to get out to us within an hour and complete everything in a matter of mins! 10/10!”

“I lost my car key - Norman was awesome! Friendly and professional same day service. We got a couple keys made so that we’d have a back up. Price was extremely reasonable too. Thank you, Norman!”
