Available Key Master

Available Key Master handles locksmith work out of Georgetown, TX. The outfit covers emergency lockouts along with rekeying, key replacement, deadbolt work, and car key programming for homes, businesses, and vehicles. One technician described himself as the third generation in his family to work the trade and traced his roots to Bulgaria. The company advertises round-the-clock availability and lists a direct line for calls when someone needs help right away.

Homeowners and business customers describe jobs that include lost interior office keys where a technician arrived and finished rekeying plus extra cuts in under an hour. Others needed entrance deadbolts rekeyed and sticky bolts adjusted on the spot. Front door locks and handles that failed after attempted DIY fixes got repaired without full replacement. Car lockouts and balcony deadbolts, including a tough titanium model, were opened and made functional again. One case involved swapping just the cylinder mechanism so existing keys still worked.

Response times run from fifteen minutes for a callback to arrival inside forty-five minutes even on Sundays or late at night. Technicians stay in touch by text when they are close and finish most jobs the same day. Prices come up in reviews as competitive on some calls yet higher than quoted on others, with service fees and lockout charges sometimes adjusted after discussion. Work reaches nearby spots such as Sun City and keeps going after hours when other shops do not answer.

Google shows a 4 rating from 18 reviews. Positive notes center on quick arrivals, clear explanations of the fix, and getting the job done without extra parts. Complaints focus on differences between phone quotes and final bills plus reluctance to return for adjustments once payment is made.

“We needed access to one of our interior offices, as a key was lost, Available Key Master was there within 45 minutes, in the office within seconds, re-keyed the lock, cut new keys for that lock plus one more, all for $115.00. VERY IMPRESSED! We will definitely use them again!”

“I searched for a reputable locksmith to rekey the entrance doors dead bolt locks. After having called for 3 quotes from top rated companies, I retained Available Key Master for this project because of the reception as well as the competitive price. He explained to me that he is the third generation of his family in the locksmith business, from Bulgaria. When he arrived on time for the work, he was courteous and knowledgeable as well worked in an efficient manner. He was willing to patiently correct the bolt stickiness in one of my locks when I tested each one of them with all the keys provided. I would recommend him to others readily who may need a locksmith service from this pleasant experience.”

“After trying to repair our front door lock and handle myself and only making the problem worse, I checked web to find a company who come and fix the problem immediately. After calling around, I found Silver Locksmith, who promised to be there within the hour. Time was of the essence as we were all heading out for the day and couldn't very well leave our front door without a lock. Silver Locksmith showed up on time and immediately was able to address the problem. While I was willing to pay almost anything to have the problem fixed right away and was expecting a huge bill, Silver Locksmith did the job for a more than reasonable price and solved not only our faulty handle and lock problem but also addressed an issue we had with a sticky door. Highly recommend.”

“Website says it's a $15 service fee. When he got there the bill said $29 service fee and the lockout fee was $91 (locked my keys in my car). That being said he did work with me a little ($20 off) and he got there on time and got the job done super quick! They did great truly and I would recommend them but they need to either update their website or be a little more clear. $120 is a bit steep for me personally. Im grateful for the help that came in a timely manner!”

“Our front door lock wasn't working anymore. Available Key Master was very quick in responding to our call for help and addressed the problem in the most cost effective way. Rather than replace the whole lock, he quickly saw that by simply replacing the mechanism within the lock cylinder and re-keying it to work with our existing keys that would solve the problem for us. It was clear right from the get-go that he knew what he was doing and was very knowledgeable on the best course of action to take. I will definitely call on him again if I ever have future problems and would not hesitate to recommend him for others seeking similar service. Thank you, Available Key Master !!”

“I was amazed by the overwhelming 5-star reviews that A Star had acquired and now I know why. Available Key Master professionalism, courtesy, and craftsmanship were above and beyond what I had ever experienced before in a locksmith, so good in fact I hired him to do two other projects for me!! A Star has my loyalty and if you give them a try, I guarantee you will feel the same.”

“I would highly recommend this locksmith. I got locked out on balcony on a Sunday afternoon, in the cold without a jacket. My neighbor called a bunch of local locksmiths, but no one was answering. Thankfully Available Key Master answered and said they would get a technician to call back. The technician, Eugene, called back within 15 minutes as promised and said that he would be able to be there in a half hour. He kept us updated on his status and texted us when he was 5 minutes out. At this point, I was out on the balcony for almost 2 hours. Once arrived he went right to work on the deadbolt. He soon realized that it was titanium deadbolt which is an extremely tricky lock. Thankfully he had encountered one before and knew how to do it quickly. It took about 10 minutes and the lock was off and I was saved! Eugene was very professional. I was extremely happy that the company took a credit card as I didn't have that much cash on hand. Available Key Master wrote me a receipt and offered to help install a new lock in the future. He told me to give them a call to schedule. This was a very stressful experience, but I felt the price was fair and Available Key Master was awesome. I'll defini”

“Way over priced and not transparent about their prices at all. Over the phone they will tell you a complete different price. The bill had charges for things they never mentioned or explained. Would not recommend to any of my friends or family. Update: called after the key doesnt work with the back door and asked to have them redo the lock since it wasnt done correctly the first time and they were trying to charge me again. Do not use them at all. Worst company I have ever dealt with. Find someone else to rekey your locks.”

“1 star is the best i can do. I had a lock put on and the location caused an issue. They refused to come back out to adjust it. Once they get your money they won't return if there are any issues. Poor customer service. Stay away!”

“I was told 20 minutes, after 1 hour I called and left a message, no call back. Called one more time, nothing. I went with this company first because of the positive reviews, but wow.. I will not recommend.”

“These guys are thiefs - they tell you a number on the phone and when they come out is another. I do not recommend this company at all! Be AWARE! DO NOT GET SCAMMED!”

“It was late at night. He came out immediately and unlocked my door anyway. Thanks so much.”
