Astro Lock and Safe, LLC

Astro Lock and Safe, LLC handles locksmith work for homes, businesses and vehicles from their location in Humble, Texas. The company covers residential lock changes, commercial re-keying, automotive key programming and safe work through mobile service. Technicians such as Eric, Kameron, Justin and Brandon take the calls and complete the jobs on site or at the shop on FM 1960 Bypass.

Homeowners and drivers describe jobs that include cutting spare keys for new apartments in minutes, swapping out worn deadbolts and knobs on older houses, programming replacement fobs for trucks and cars after water damage or lost sync, making fresh keys for 1990s models and semis when other shops turn them away, and re-keying entire studio spaces on short notice. Eric has changed multiple entry locks at once with clean results, Kameron has sorted Infiniti and Lexus fobs that others could not, Justin has handled remote programming and machined keys, and Brandon has ordered and installed new fobs the next day.

The crew answers the phone the same day, arrives early for scheduled work, finishes most jobs inside twenty minutes, lays out clear prices up front and keeps charges fair across the Humble area. They handle lost truck keys on short notice, salvage parts from damaged fobs when possible and give options so customers can pick the best route without pressure.

“Came to this business to have 2 spare keys cut for my brand new apartment, and was graciously helped, where the keys were cut in under 1 minute; I was in and out within 5 minutes! Very cost effective with each key copy being about $6. Massively grateful and super impressed with the service! I highly recommend this place for anything to do with locksmiths and keys!”

“I cannot recommend Astro Locksmith enough! In a time where true customer service feels like a lost art, this business is a breath of fresh air. From start to finish, I felt incredibly welcome and valued. They were quick, fair, and remarkably honest—qualities that are hard to find these days. They truly did an outstanding job, and their kindness made the whole experience shine. If you need a locksmith in Humble, look no further!”

“This is the 2nd time I’ve used Astro lock. The first when I moved into my house 13 years ago and now to change out all my dysfunctional old deadbolts and door knobs. Not only was Eric friendly and knowledgeable but he did the work quick and it was perfect! No more keys that won’t turn in all out entry doors! And the price was so super reasonable for three door deadbolts and knob change outs! Will definitely be a lifetime customer!!!”

“We had a fantastic experience with Eric at Astro Lock & Safe today at our new studio in Humble. He was professional, friendly, safety-conscious, and very considerate of cost while helping us re-key the space. He even arrived about 15 minutes early, which was a great first impression. It’s always a pleasure supporting a fellow local small business that clearly takes pride in its work and customer service. Highly recommend Astro Lock & Safe!”

“Went to visit this place because I took my key fob in the water and my key fob did not work for my vehicle anymore I was still able to start it it's a push start so I ordered a key fob online for my vehicle they were able to program it and also look up the key code and give me one backup key and give me the key codes for the vehicle just in case I ever lose all my keys I love this place I am very satisfied with the service that they provided me I highly recommend this place if you need a key made or if you need a brand new key fob or anything to do with cars”

“Went in today for a key programming. Kameron was able to program the key fob for my Infiniti when no one else could. I’m convinced Kameron is a locksmith genius. I recommend going to him for all of your locksmith needs. My family and I will certainly be using him exclusively. A+ service.”

“Came in with key that so busted it wasn't working on my car anymore. The gentlemen there were kind enough to remake the key from the mangled mess I brought in and salvaged the inside of the fob. They were very informative about the process and gave the cost of each option that was available so we could decide the best way to move forward. They went above and beyond and still got me in and out in about 10 minutes. 10 out of 10 customer experience. Also a piece of advice- don't superglue your car key together when it breaks.”

“They made me a key for the door of my Semi, it was a fast service and the guys there were very friendly, highly recommend this place”

“Justin helped me in a pinch. Lost sync on the key for my Lexus. Troubleshot it. Looked up protocol and executed. Fair. Charged me for a battery replacement. Start here if you have anything key and lock related. Very grateful.”

“Friendly, fair, down home service. Highly recommended.”

“I was so relieved and happy I came here. I have a key that goes to a 1990 and several people and kiosks turned me down for a copy. I was getting nervous id have to go to the dealership, but my boyfriend recommended me here instead, and they were sure when I walked in they could copy it. Very thankful to the men I encountered here, wish I got their names. And it was super inexpensive! Sooooo thankful to have a new working key to my older vehicle. I will always come here for any key-related issues!”

“Recently had to get a new key fob for my vehicle and somebody recommended this place and everything went amazing. Brandon assisted me with the process of ordering a new key fob, it was shipped and came in the very next day and he programmed my key very quickly. The entire process was seamless, price was very reasonable and I would recommend these guys to anybody and will be coming back to them for any future needs!!! Thanks again.”

“I am astonished by this company. I have changed my front door lock to an electric door lock and needed extra keys. I went to Home Depot first, then Ace, no one was able to copy the key exactly. If you are looking for a company to copy a custom key look no further, the key specialist at ASTRO Lock and Safe, LLC, can help you. They were very professional and worked in a timely manner. All of my keys worked perfectly, and I didn't have to return with any issues. The gentleman did inform me that if there was a problem, just come back, and they would be glad to help in any way they could possibly. They are the key gurus. Thanks, again ASTRO for your assistance!”

“Have f150 2007 I lost my only key to the truck. I called them to get a quote. I agreed and they came out the same day it took about 20min to complete the job. Fast efficient and the technician was very knowledgeable and personable. Great combo for any company will highly recommend and do business with again if needed.”

“Astro Lock and Safe was one of 2 places that answered the phone when we had no working truck key left (the others didn't call back either). I scheduled a few days in advance for expense reasons. Everyone I spoke to was polite and professional. Eric did a great job and was so kind to me and the kids, and the transponder/ chip key was made for a lower price than we had anticipated (this was not a key copy but a brand new key because we had none and for a 2005 vehicle). Extra key was included included unlock only.. Highly recommend!”

“These guys were great. The price was right and they took care of me quickly. I would definitely use them again.”

“Best key cutting place ever. Key works every time!”

“When in to get two keys machined for my vehicle and Justin was there to assist me. He was an amazing person and very helpful. I came back to get a remote for my vehicle and he showed me to programmed my remote. I highly recommend this place. Staff is friendly with great prices.”
