What Customers Say
“A couple of years back they cut and programmed 2 new keys for my Honda and it was great service and quickly done. The other day I inquired about a valet key for my car, if they had one and if it will only work the door and turn on the vehicle like a valet key would do. Well the person at the counter didn't know for shur so I went to the dealer for it and the programming. I have had great service with house keys and having them re-keyed and my car keys cut from vin and programmed but this one time I was a little disappointed. This one time won't keep me from going back, they do have good service.”
“Excellent service! Bill and his crew moved a VERY heavy antique safe. Very professional and careful. I was very pleased with everything, communication, punctuality and customer service. Highly recommend!”
“I called in and they were very helpful, nice and informative. Great Job! Will call again for future needs.”
“Vicki the coordinator handled my call and issue with ease, clarity, and care. Over two days from 2/12/26-2/13/26 i had attempted to reach or get service from 3 different locksmiths from the lubbock region and I ended up pretty disappointed because I couldn't get a call back after i had to navigate their automated systems. One of them told me theyre busy all the way through next week...who knows that theyre gonna lose their keys a week in advance? Vikki at Lubbock Lock and Key was the only coordinator that called me back after submitting a service call, she checked up on me without asking her to, after time had passed to make sure someone was coordinating with me to get my issue resolved. I am someone who likes to talk to a person, a human, an American when i need emergency assistance. Here at Lubbock Lock and Key, I can say i am pleased with these folks.”
“Extremely quick service and great selection for a variety of keys! I'd love to come back to get extra keys and key fobs for my car. I love supporting a local business!”
“I called three times with no answer. It’s 15 till close so that’s probably why they won’t answer. Looking across the street and don’t see that they’re busy… very disappointing.”
“This place has always been a quality, locally owned business. They have helped several times with keys for my car and house. My car key is one that has a double sided laser cut design, and when I went to the dealership to get a spare made, it was over double the price of what Lubbock Lock & Key charged. They have top notch customer service, and they have always gone above and beyond. Definitely check them out for Andy lock or key related needs.”
“I got a quote for a new key fob and programming and they quoted me $285. This seemed a little steep and so I decided to call around, and Howdy Lock & Key quoted me $190 for a fob that was the exact fob as my original. Lubbock Lock & Key doesn’t even need to be charging that and yet they still do! Moral of the story…call around! Some of these places are just looking for a money grab!”
“Very helpful, informative and friendly. Every time I've used them, it's the same great service! Thank you LL&K!”
“Great service! Came right out. Blake did a great job! I would highly recommend them!”
“Update 2025. This is the only place I go for keys. The staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. The service is fast and professional. Needed a key for my mailbox. My apartment office kept saying they would get us a second one so me and my wife could both have a key. Got tired of waiting. Stopped by here uad one in 5 minutes. Great place.”
“Fast knowledgeable Hassel free got my key in 4 minutes. Outstanding”
“Brought in 4 locks that were all difficult to open. After $150 rebuild (they're not cheap locks to begin with) they were just as difficult to open. After struggling to open one, noticed springs were coming out of the tumbler. Took it back to have them fix it, they tried to charge me for the "repair"! Then told me that the problem with the locks was that my key was worn. And they could not get me new ones, " you'll have to go where you purchased the locks". Well they are not in business, so what do I do? Their reply "I don't know". Well why rebuild 4 locks if the problem was "a key"? How can a dealer for a brand of lock (& they are) not be able to get replacement keys? How do you charge to fix a lock you just "rebuilt"?... Another dealer got me 2 keys!, & it cost less than half the rebuild! and they work smooth now! Yesterday I called to speak with a manager & discuss these concerns. Response was odd to say the least & he never even asked my name, nor what type of locks they were. Just "I'll have to look into this. But doesn't know my name, nor date of service, or even what was repaired! Yea, he's gonna' look into it! I'll never go back! In response to "owners reply": Well your ”
“The staff was amazing and so sweet! I didn't know what was wrong with my key fob. He took it to the back. Brought it back quickly. Needed a battery. I know it was a simple fix but the service from everyone was amazing. Every customer that was there was treated with the up most respect.”
“Have used Lubbock Lock and Key for many years and always great to work with! On time, professional, and efficient!”
“We bought a safe from them and they delivered it with promptness! This business will always be our go to for all lock and key necessities”
“Any kind of key they make it perfectly. They make it in less than 5 min. Very friendly staff”
“I had an extremely pleasant experience with Lubbock Lock & Key. After purchasing a new home, I called them to re-key all of my doors, and from start to finish, the experience was excellent. The lady who answered the phone was friendly, professional, and got me scheduled quickly. My locksmith, Will, arrived right on time and was just as wonderful—he was friendly, knowledgeable, and worked efficiently while explaining everything he was doing. It’s clear this business values customer service and attention to detail. Everyone I interacted with was kind and genuinely helpful, which made the whole process so easy and stress-free. ' On top of the great service, their pricing was very reasonable for the work I needed done. I would absolutely use Lubbock Lock & Key again in the future and highly recommend them to anyone needing reliable locksmith services.”
“The locksmith was prompt, professional, and clearly knew what they were doing. They explained everything and got the job done quickly without any issues. Excellent customer service!”
“Got the job done. The “sign in” program is quite odd. Signs placed everywhere to get you to sign in. Isn’t it easy enough to say hello and can I help you????? Good grief”
