About
Key Programming Pasadena TX works as a locksmith based in Pasadena Texas. Their main services center on vehicle key programming such as attempts to handle existing key fobs and requests to create replacements or extras. The business takes calls for these tasks and sends someone out to the vehicle location when needed. Customers reach them for programming work on cars where the make model and year are already known.
Reviews describe repeated problems with billing during key fob jobs. One customer paid 172 after the reprogramming attempt failed and then faced another request for the same amount to supply a new key instead. Calls to discuss the charges led to repeated disconnections without any fix. Another review noted that a 35 dollar service fee was required just to learn the cost of an extra key even after the vehicle details were provided upfront. These situations left customers dealing with extra payments for work that did not finish as expected.
The company often needs to see the actual car before quoting prices on key services despite having the basic vehicle information. Communication during these calls can involve abrupt endings when questions come up about costs or next steps. Pricing comes across as unclear at the start with charges added after the initial visit. Service stays limited to the local area around Pasadena with no details given on set hours or response speed beyond what happens once the call is made.
The overall record shows a Google rating of 1 from 4 reviews. The same issues appear across the feedback with billing disputes and call handling coming up each time. DIRT Score 0.4 from 4 reviews on Finds.

What Customers Say
“Do not use this company unless you want to be charged 3 times for one job. I was charged $172 after they failed to reprogram my existing key Fob and when I asked for anew key which is what they came out to do they wanted to charge me another 172 for a new key. After I asked to speak to management they just kept hanging up and yelling at me without resolving the issue. Unprofessional company. Don't even call this company. I have no clue how they have 5 stars they deserve 0.”
“This company could not provide a cost to make an extra key for my vehicle without charging me a $35 service fee. If you know the make, model and year of a car, why would you need to see the car to provide a price? Seems like a shady business model.”
“No wonder you have the rating you do. Hanging up on potential customers isn’t smart business.”
